Happy 6-month birthday, Brooklyn! You are now half a year old! I’ve only had you for three months, but you’ve brought such joy to my life, and it’s been wonderful seeing you come out of your shell since your days as Petunia at @arlboston

Meet Chex Mix! 🐾

This friendly, fun-loving pup is just under a year old and has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life. Chex Mix loves spending time with people and enjoys socializing with other dogs.

As an active young pup, Chex Mix would thrive with a family who can keep up with his playful personality and help him continue learning and growing.

Ready to meet your new best friend? Stop by the @arlboston Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center to meet Chex Mix!

On the eve of Brooklyn (shelter name: Petunia)’s 6 month birthday, I play fetch with her! Yes, my CAT plays fetch! When I got her from @arlboston she was a terrified, unsocialized kitten, but now she’s a happy little girl and my little buddy… who plays fetch like a dog!

Meet Lionel! 🐾

If there were an award for the best game of fetch, Lionel would take home the gold! 🥇

This playful pup absolutely LOVES his toys and could spend hours chasing them, tossing them around, and proudly carrying them in his mouth. He’ll even drop them at your feet and patiently wait for you to throw them again!

Lionel is a smart, eager-to-learn boy who has made great progress with his training. He’s mastered basic cues like “sit” and “down” and is working on “stay.” With his compact size and adventurous spirit, Lionel is always ready for some fun! He loves the water and would make a great companion for hikes, long walks, and outdoor adventures.

Lionel is currently enjoying life in a foster home, but interested adopters can arrange a meet-and-greet or stop by the @arlboston Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center on Saturdays and Sundays during adoption hours to meet him. ❤️🐕
