Five days at Download and we’ve officially reached the sitting-on-the-grass stage.

So it’s the final day of @downloadfest 2026, and we’re running on fumes! We’re talking about Architects’ repeatedly interrupted set, the absolute madness of Self Deception, and the difficult decisions between Scooter, A Day To Remember and Bad Omens.

Plus, Rob’s somehow survived another night with practically no sleep, and Neill explains why he was too scared to approach a member of Sleep Token. 👀

🎧 Festpod Episode 92 is out now! Watch or listen to the full episode on our website.

You only get one 40th. Might as well make it last all year. 🍻

Neill’s talking posh campervans, birthday treats and the danger of getting a bit too used to festival comforts.

Then @downloadfest reminds us we’re still in a field. 💨🎥

Your playlist’s got room for breakdowns AND boy bands!

@itsfiveofficial at @downloadfest had us grinning and the metalheads were all singing along. No guilty pleasures here, just a bloody good time.

Be honest. Who would be your dream pop booking for Download? We’ve got a list!

Come back to the field with us in @fest.pod episode 90. Watch or listen via the link in our bio.

Please tell us someone saw him in the pit. 😂

Ben came to Download dressed for business. We need to know whether he completed his mission.

More of the bands, the people, and the glorious nonsense in Festpod episode 90. Full episode via the link in our bio.

“She hadn’t seen something as responsive as that - and that’s our fans.”

When a fan became unwell at the main stage, Bloodstock briefly stopped the show and asked the crowd to step back. They stepped back straight away, allowing medics to reach the person quickly and safely.

Festival director Rachael Greenfield tells @fest.pod why that moment made her so proud of the @bloodstockopenair community. 🤘

“Alternative music shouldn’t have a uniform.”

Jeans and a T-shirt? Fine. Dressed like an accountant? Fine. Cookie Monster? Apparently also fine.

@rdrfestival Festival co-founder Catherine Jackson-Smith on building a festival community where nobody needs to look the part.
