I asked Namrata (@n__goyal) who she thinks is pushing culture forward right now and her answers are as thoughtful as they are expansive. 🐇🕳️

From the coziest YouTube corners where artists share their process, to the most comforting cooking pods, to books that stay with you long after, you can feel the care in every reference.

If you’re curious to go deeper, the full feature is up on Substack. Link in bio. 📮

🎉 Contemporary Type curated font shop turns 1 today! 🎉

1 year ago this project was launched with the idea of building a place for type lovers to find remarkable fonts by some of the most interesting foundries of our time. The project is still doing its baby steps with a lot of work to do, but it already features 50 font families by 15 foundries, which is an absolute honor:

@approx.type
@arrowtype
@blast_foundry
@dblzr.fonts
@typodaria
@domicile_foundry
@fantasia.type
@flightmodetype
@formula.type
@morula_type
@newglyph
@plain_form
@rudiger.xyz
@tekio.work
@typeji

With that, I wanted to say thanks to everyone using the platform, of course to our foundries, @deramosandserch for all the hard work on the website and @burnier for the gradient tool!

Kudos to all involved in yesterday’s TDC Type Drives Commerce at @fordhamuniversity Lincoln Center (thanks to @abby_one_one_zero) where at @karlheine was a sponsor via his beautiful @designerjournals in collaboration with the great designers at @workingassembly. After a seven year hiatus of this event it was wonderful to catch up with type pros and designers in person over a day full of amazing talks, type and design.
