My heart is resonating with joy!

I am supporting this GoFundMe page for @momentum_humans - an NYC Jazz Collective. Funding will go towards shooting, editing, choreographing and releasing a music video for their upcoming release of “Naima”, a reimagining of a Coltrane classic.

Check it out here!: gofundme.com/f/naima-music-video

In humble gratitude, we extend our thanks for your consideration and support, which, in myriad forms, breathe life into our aspirations.

Last year we played a fundraiser for @create.art.performance, an arts non-profit. A group of local New York dancers in the audience became insipred by our reimagining of the John Coltrane Song, “Naima”. We got in touch and when the time was right we created a vision for chroeography that visually makes the music come to life and first premiered the dance at the club NuBlu in NYC.

We’re now excited to announce that we’ll be releasing our special rendition of Naima alongside our FIRST EVA music video featuring the poetic movement of these dancers. However, to make this vision a reality we need support! If you feel moved by our vision and want to show support, please check out our Gofundme page (linked in our bio) and help us make this come to life!

Thank you, a million times thank you! 💛

What is a SCORE? 🤔

Is it…measuring the space with our bodies? playing a scene in a movie? creating sound for movement? 🎥

Maybe everything in between…🤷‍♀️

If you’re curious about bridging sound & movement in fun ways, join this collective crew for SCORE on July 12th / 6:30pm @motivebrooklyn. It’s free & we’re here to play! 🪩

RSVP w/ link in bio. 👯‍♀️

Special thanks to @the_real_bgoosman @kisskisstine @art.irka @glennnnnnstagram @emmarose23 for your sparks of creativity! Looking forward to more sweet times like these. :) 🍯

As some of you may know, my small Brownsville-based non for profit organization, @_projectkb has been really making some major strides this year and I feel like the focus and hard work from our team of supporters and artists is really starting to make a dent in New York! We received two grant awards thanks to @bkartscouncil this year and yesterday was the grantee celebration. I had the privilege of meeting their new Executive Director @rasupreme as well as the New York Commissioner of Cultural Affairs @cmlauriecumbo who both know how vital the arts are to our communities in a universal way. I'm so grateful to have had time to speak with them about @_projectkb . I can't wait to continue working with them and sharing my passion with New York, Brooklyn, Brownsville, and the world.

Swipe to see some updates on the space, @daanifizzle and @art.irka who have always been so supportive of my vision, as well as some recent community activations.

Please follow @_projectkb for more updates and news
