Autumn has arrived here on Long Island… to celebrate the season I had my tween and adult classes at StudioE work on an oil pastel drawing of a fall colored tree… using no reference, create a landscape with a focus on the tree. We used a Bristol board and built up layers of color. As a final step, I had my adult class use an xacto blade to scratch away the pastel color for hilites and details - a form of scratchboard artwork. #drawing #artinstruction #oilpastelart #falltree #artist

A special thank you to Manuel Villalobos and the Art Guild for bringing art into the celebration and inviting our community to create a mural that has become a cherished tradition at Fiesta in the Park. ❤️

From dancing and singing to painting, we celebrate a culture deeply rooted in artistic expression, creativity, and community. 🇱🇦✨

Using museum acrylic (such as Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic) on your next picture framing project provides superior protection, safety, and visual clarity compared to standard glass or regular acrylic. The very best for what matters most. A lifetime of visual enjoyment 🖼️✨ #artframing #museumacrylic #lifelongviewing

Thank you, Port Washington! ❤️

Yesterday, despite the rain and challenging weather, you showed up. You came with your families, your umbrellas, your rain jackets, and most importantly, with your hearts.

Although the weather shortened our celebration, it could never diminish the joy of seeing our community come together. For those beautiful moments, we danced, connected, celebrated our cultures, and reminded ourselves of what makes our community so special.

Our community is resilient. Our community shows up. Our community belongs together.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, volunteered, participated, and stood with us.

Mil gracias for making Fiesta in the Park a celebration we will remember. ❤️
