The wait is over, Double Espressoul has found its home. ☕️💖🥳

Starting Wednesday 28th October and returning every last Wednesday of the month, ROOM86 opens its doors to a new musical journey, where live music meets the art of DJing in a beautiful and intimate space hidden beneath MOI, in the heart of Soho.

Expect evenings filled with soulful sounds, from jazz and blues, to funk, disco and house, starting with the warmth of live performances before gradually making way for the dancefloor.

For the launch, the wonderful Charlotte de Graaf & Artie Zaitz will set the mood with an intimate live performance exploring jazz, blues and original compositions, live from 7pm, followed by a vinyl DJ set from 9pm until late.

Good music, good people, and a space where everyone can feel comfortable, connect, listen and dance.

The launch is guest-list-only, so make sure to add yourself to the guest list or book a table via the links in bio!

Singing while playing organ is something that’s fairly new to me. I resisted it at first because I felt like my style of singing fit better with piano. But through the organ night shows I’ve grown to love it and embrace new ways of accompanying my voice.

I’m so excited to bring Organ Night back to London this wednesday at @thefoxandfirkin . We will be moving the organ in the night before at midnight, its gone be awesooooome.

Which character should I do all the stage banter with?

London! We are back!
@thefoxandfirkin on Wed Oct 21 with @artiezaitz and @jack._.thomas .

So excited to bring Organ Night to south London. I’ve only been there a few times but I know you guys have a crazy music community.

This clip is from the NY edition of Organ Night at @restorationsoundstudio featuring two masters @markwhitfieldjr and @ghex . Thank you all for making that show feel so warm and nice!

And the LA show was wild! So much happened it’s sort of too daunting to make content from. But I will get on that eventually.

Thank you for supporting Organ Night! Excited to see you soon in Lewisham.

Had the pleasure of experiencing a beautifully curated jazz evening at the new Capital of Jazz, @bluenotelondon , led by mister @markkavuma and @thebangerfactory. 🎷✨

On the lineup:

@markkavuma - trumpet
Theo Erskine - tenor sax
Wilf Diamond - trombone
@davidmrakpor - vibraphone
@artiezaitz - guitar
Renato Paris - keys
@jack._.thomas - drums
Ewan Hastie - double bass

Impressions on the venue: as a good friend would say — everything feels really plush.

The first impression felt silky. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the premium, intimate interior, the place knows exactly what mood it wants to create. High-ceiling curtains, that signature royal blue, good wine, and a well integrated crowd.

The whole evening felt polished without being stiff, well organised, smoothly hosted with the music always taking centre stage.
It has that old-school jazz-club charm, but with a fresh London edge.

Final note: Blue Note is definitely going on my top shelf of London jazz venues💙
