MONOCHROME MONDAY 2027 — TICKETS ARE NOW LIVE 🖤

On Monday 18th January, we’re bringing Monochrome Monday back for its second year, held at the stunning East Afton Farmhouse.

This year, around 130 people joined us for an evening that raised more than £12,000 forThe Burnt Chef Project The support was honestly far bigger than we expected — so we knew we had to do it again.

For 2027, 6 chefs will each create a course inspired by a different continent, reflecting the global reach of The Burnt Chef Project and the people it supports across hospitality.

Your ticket includes:

• Arrival canapes
• An arrival drink
• A five-course dinner
• Entertainment
• A goody bag

You can book individual tickets, a table of ten or one of our VIP tables, which includes a magnum of champagne and private bar service.

Monochrome Monday is about bringing the Island’s hospitality community and its supporters together for a brilliant evening, while raising money and awareness for better mental health across our industry.

Book through the link in our bio.

We’d love to see you there. 🖤

Meet your Monochrome Monday 2027 chefs 🖤🤍

Familiar faces, a new addition and a shared passion for supporting mental health in hospitality.

On Monday 18th January, this talented team will come together at East Afton Farmhouse, each creating a course inspired by a different continent. A menu that reflects the global reach of The Burnt Chef Project, brought to life right here on the Isle of Wight.

The chefs are busy developing their dishes, but swipe through to see who’s cooking each course and which continent will inspire them. A huge thank you to every chef giving their time, skills and creativity to make this evening happen.

Our first Monochrome Monday raised over £12,000. We’re proud to be bringing everyone together again for 2027.

Want to join us? Sign up to hear when tickets go on sale through the link in our bio.

⚓ There are so many hidden treasures in Cowes and East Cowes.

From places to eat, shop, walk or learn. Here are just a few of our favourites...

☕ Artisan Cafe, tucked away in the old York Avenue Garage site, owners Aga and Damian have transformed this spot into a popular cosy cafe. Seasonal food, great coffee and delicious homemade cakes, this is one to add to your list
🏋️ A gym that overlooks Cowes Harbour? It doesn't get much better than that. You might walk straight past this one without noticing it, hidden inside The Pinnacle Suites boutique hotel. But they welcome everyone, not just hotel guests. Watch the boats whilst you weight lift, or head to the cafe for a post workout coffee
🛶 Sir Max Aitken Museum, celebrating the heritage of yachting in Cowes. Displaying an impressive private collection of maritime history; take a look inside next time you're passing or did you know you can even book the venue for events?

Let us know your favourite hidden spot. ⬇️

When I tell you this is THE best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. We visited @artisancafe_ two years ago on our way home from Isle of Wight and have been waiting to go back since. It tasted just as good as it did two years ago! This cafe is right next to the ferry port in East Cowes so is a great stop on your way onto or off the island. A must visit!!

A little Randonnée recce 🚲🌿

With the big ride only a couple of weeks away, there were a couple of climbs I’d been slightly unsure about… so today I decided it was time to go and meet them 😂

Despite feeling pretty tired today after a heavy work week off I went and thankfully they were nowhere near as scary as I’d made them in my head! 🙌

Climbs ticked off ✔️ then onto some absolutely gorgeous bridleways for the ride back, a bit of sunshine, plenty of lovely views and, most importantly, a café stop to finish ☕️🥐

One of those rides that reminded me you don’t always have to feel full of energy to get out there and enjoy it.

Feeling a little more Randonnée-ready now… although I reserve the right to change my mind when I actually have to ride the whole thing 😂🚲💚
