There’s something powerful about people making together.
~
Not performing.
Not competing.
Just creating, exploring, laughing, experimenting — side by side.
~
In a world where so many people feel isolated, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted, creativity can become more than just “art.”
It becomes connection.
~
This collaboration with @artspacecreates reminded me how important creative spaces are — not only for individuals, but within workplaces too.
~
Because creativity invites something different out of us.
~
It slows us down.
It brings curiosity back.
It gives people permission to express, play, and connect beyond roles, titles, and expectations.
~
And often, it’s in those shared moments of making that people begin to soften.
~
Conversations open.
Pressure drops.
People feel human again.
~
Art therapy and creative workshops aren’t about being “good” at art. They’re about creating spaces where people can reconnect — with themselves and with each other.
~
And honestly, I think we need more of that.

a #warmintroduction

hello, I’m Sarah, co-founder of #artspace

I’m an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist. I love creating warm and imaginative spaces where individuals and teams can explore art-based processes to restore focus and deepen communication.

My work is grounded in a lifelong connection to #creativity and shaped by years of experience in environments where #imagination and #collaboration are central. I support people to reflect and reconnect with their creative potential, helping them navigate challenges with confidence and care.

I bring experience from the NHS, community and private practice settings, as well as extensive consultancy work.

Alongside my clinical practice of supporting clients through bereavement, grief and loss, I have a strong background in art and design education and an ongoing relationship with a leading examination board in #GCSE Art and Design.

This blend of therapeutic insight, creative expertise and educational understanding enables me to deliver creative workshops that are both reflective and purposeful.

I’m known for my calm presence, thoughtful guidance and genuinely caring approach.

I bring warmth, curiosity and professionalism to every space I hold and I’m grateful to do work that feels so deeply connected to #creativity and #care.
