🎉IT'S TOMORROWWWW!!!!!!🎉 □ The long-awaited Gallery Festival is tomorrow at @sayartstudios!!! I'll be there all day tomorrow as a featured artist and 123 resident artist as well as helper and photographer to the Festival! There will be artists' tents, a day full of live performances, food, face painting and so much more!! I'm SO excited to be a part of this Festival that's bringing the arts here to lil ol' Pacific, MO!! ○ This is an event for all ages and is completely free to join! So bring your friends, your family, it's going to be an amazing time! And don't just support us, on slide x of this post is a list of several local businesses in the downtown area. Outside food and drink are allowed at this event, so stop by one of the local restaurants/cafes/desert places and get yourself a treat to bring to the festival! (I hear @hoffmansdrivein is serving up Dubai Chocolate-inspired custard. (; ) You can also do a little non-art-related shopping before or after you visit the festival at @kaleidoscopeconsign, @pagesinpacific, or @thecigarvault2022! So definitely, if you can, use this as a resource to shop locally that day!! □ Hope to see a bunch of you there!! Thank you all for your continued support of the arts, and your continued support of @sayartstudios!! ○ □ ○ □ ○ □ ○ □ ○ #pacificmo #sayartstudios #artistsofmissouri #localart #greaterstlouisartist #galleryexhibition #galleryfestival #artfair #pacificmissouri #weekendplans #stlmade #stlartscene

✨️2 WEEKS POST FEMALE GAZE OPENING!✨️ ◇ Hello all! Long time no post (kinda.. 🤭) It's been a hot minute, but we are FINALLY getting into some Female Gaze posting! ◇ Our Opening Show was an absolute HIT!! And we can't thank all of you who participated, volunteered, and who came out to support us, ENOUGH!! 💕 We are truly grateful for everyone who made the opening show possible! We are constantly in awe of the skill, talent, power, and generosity of our members! You make this guild stronger with everything you create!! ◇ That all being said, we want to continue honoring you all by posting photos and highlights from our Second Ever Member's Showcase "The Female Gaze"!! Every piece of artwork, every declamation, every artist there was absolutely incredible and made the show the powerful statement that it was for female and femme voices/experiences everywhere! That night, St. Louis Ladys' Art Guild and Artisans in THE LOOP wanted to highlight a few of those voices by awarding them Certificates of Artistic Excellence! 🎨🖌 Though we wish there was enough character space in this caption to describe why all these incredible femme individuals received the awards they did, we will simply let you know WHO these incredible artists are, and let the art speak for itself. 😉 ◇ ✨️Our FEMALE GAZE AWARD WINNERS:✨️ Metal Priestess (@metal.priestess.arts), Danelé Carter (@artsydan_), Adrianna Gallegos (@avahri.art), Sarah Lorentz (@lorentz_sarah), and Nella Baduini (@nellasaura.art)!! Congratulations to all of these lovely artists! We are so proud of you all and ecstatic we could honor your talents!! (Make sure to go support each and every one of them by checking out their pages!) ◇ But of course, these are not the ONLY incredible artists a part of our show. Stay tuned for more art, more members, and more FEMALE and FEMME POWER 💪💪✨️💕 ◇ ◇ Photo Credits: @bethagart ◇ ◇ #stlartgallery #artisansintheloop #stlartscene #thefemalegaze #stlouisladysartguild #femaleartshow #stlmade #bestofmissourihands

But seriously, who decided to give me a microphone? Last night was a dream ✨ I felt so safe and strong in a sea of powerful women on International Women’s Day at @stlartguild Female Gaze exhibit!! Thank you for letting me share my piece “Murder by Muses” with you! @artisans_in_the_loop Thank you to all of the men who showed support last night and continue to show up for women every day. I can’t say enough about these ladies and their art. As visual artists it can sometimes be hard for us to form the words surrounding our work, let alone find the courage to speak them aloud in front of a full crowd. I felt so honored and privileged to hear each of you speak. Thank you for sharing your stories. I would riot in the streets with you ladies any day.

Beautifully Scary II at @sayartstudios!! □ You may not be able to tell from all the other art I make/post, but I LOVE creepy, weird, and macabre art! I'm not a horror nor thriller buff, but I love art that tackles the dark, strange, and unusual in a mysteriously beautiful way! So this show was an absolute delight to be a part of! All the art was beautiful and all so unique from piece to piece! Congrats to @rippleofaqua, @strangedolls, @artsydan_, and @birdmadgirlpress all for winning awards for their absolutely incredible pieces! @stlartguild ladies are just killing it! Well deserved! 👏👏👏 Personally, @rippleofaqua's "Seeing Red, White, and Blue," @tateaskinner's "Pen," and all 3 of @freckledillustrations' pieces captured my eye the most! Seriously incredible work by everyone!! Oh, and my pieces in the show are "Molly Crenshaw" (slide 2), "Floating Above" (slide 3), and "Crumbling Façade" (slide 4). I drew these for #inktober 4 years ago, and I still really love these pieces! I'm glad they have a chance to be properly displayed somewhere! Thank you once again, @sayartstudios and @reidinthewild, for your hospitality and for curating this wonderful show! Your hard work is always appreciated!! 😊🫶🫶 ○ □ ○ □ ○ □ ○ □ ○ #stlmade #stlartscene #stlartist #pacificmo ##sayartstudios #stlouisladysartguild #beautifullyscary #inktober2020 #inkillustration #originalartwork #mollycrenshaw #artgalleryshow #firstdayofautumn #arttobuy
