The inaugural Atlanta’s Beautifully Black Children’s Book Festival is happening March 28, 2026 at the Alliance Theatre!

It’s going to be a joyful celebration of stories right in the heart of our city!! A day full of culture, community, music and the legacy of Black voices that have shaped us and continue to inspire. Festival vibes all day long, and we can’t wait to see you ALL there.

Created by the Brave + Kind Friends Foundation, hosted by our friends at the Alliance Theatre, and guided by an incredible steering committee of authors, bookstore owners, and library leaders who are working behind the scenes to bring this festival to life.
