Creativity needs somewhere to go

Meditative Art is seven weeks of drawing, painting, craft and meditation - a space to experiment, make things, follow an idea, get curious about what comes up, and access parts of yourself that don’t always get much room in everyday life.

You don’t need to consider yourself an artist. You don’t need to arrive with an idea of what you’re going to make. This is about the process.

One week to go! ✨

Next Sunday, 27 September, we’re back in Auckland for another Rise & Vibe.

Yoga, movement, music and that beautiful feeling of letting go — because sometimes healing doesn’t need words. Sometimes we just need to move, breathe, feel and dance. 💛

Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.

RAY… A STORY OF A DECADE

Ray isn’t just a print. It’s a story of Yoga Tribe, emotion and a decade of growth.

Inspired by the manta ray and expressed through Māori artistic tradition, it honours the land that has shaped this journey from the very beginning.

Ten grounding dots mark a decade of growth. Three inward arrows hold the stillness of body, mind and spirit — and from that stillness comes the courage to begin again.

POV: Your Artist Date Ends with Food That Feels Like Home. ❤️🍝

For the past month, @iledinny and I have been journeying through The Artist’s Way, reconnecting with our inner artists. Each week, we take ourselves on an Artist Date—exploring different adventures that awaken our creativity and remind us that art can speak through so many forms.

This week, art tasted like home. ✨ We had the joy of wandering through the Food Show and indulging in the beautiful flavours. A heartfelt thank you to @prodotti.co.nz for bringing such incredible Italian products, a throwback to the tastes that raised us. 🇮🇹❤️

Deeply grateful for my soul sister, who has walked beside me through so many versions of who I’ve been. Thank you for continuing to grow, dream, and expand alongside me.

These Artist Dates are also nourishing the vision behind @artyoga.creativewellbeing discovering new, creative ways to support our community in reconnecting with themselves and with the Creator within.

Here’s to following curiosity, celebrating our roots, and remembering that creativity is everywhere. 🎨✨

My heart is so full of gratitude for the opportunity to co-create at Te Pō Winter Solstice Retreat, lovingly held by @manawa_festival . 🤍✨

There is something so nourishing about being in a space where I can weave together my passions, my gifts, and my creativity—sharing cacao, movement, music, connection, and allowing myself to fully inhabit my body through dance.

Connecting with Auckland’s dancing community was such a gift. To witness so many people arriving with open hearts, moving together, and celebrating the return of the light reminded me how powerful it is when we gather in intention and presence.

A heartfelt thank you to the beautiful souls I had the honour of co-creating alongside. Each offering flowed so naturally into the next, creating a rich tapestry of artistic expression, healing, and connection. Thank you @artyoga.creativewellbeing @flowconnection.nz @jasminestarla.nz for bringing your unique gifts and making this journey so special.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this experience—for your presence, your openness, and your willingness to dance, feel, and be.

Feeling deeply grateful for this path and for every opportunity to keep listening to what wishes to move through me. 🌿🤎
