It's actually insane how much time has passed...

Your first year of college feels like it happened yesterday. You were still figuring things out, meeting new people, and wondering what the next few years would look like. Now you're approaching your final year, looking back at how quickly everything changed.

And somehow, the rest of the world has been moving at the same pace.

GTA V to GTA VI.

When Grand Theft Auto V released in 2013, many of us were younger, watching gameplay videos, playing on older consoles, or dreaming about the day we'd finally get our hands on it. More than a decade later, we're still talking about the next chapter of GTA, waiting to explore a new world in GTA VI.

Avengers: Endgame to Avengers: Doomsday.

We watched the original Avengers come together, grew attached to their stories, and experienced the emotional ending of the Infinity Saga in 2019. Now, years later, another major Avengers chapter is approaching, bringing a whole new era of Marvel anticipation.

The Batman to The Batman Part II.

Robert Pattinson's dark, rain-soaked Gotham arrived in 2022. We watched Bruce Wayne begin his journey as Batman, immersed ourselves in that atmosphere, and waited to see what came next. And the wait continues.

It's strange when you think about it.

We measure time through birthdays, semesters, friendships, and the people we become. But sometimes, we measure it through the games we waited for, the movies we watched, and the stories that stayed with us.

The things we were excited about years ago are still part of our lives, except now we're older, busier, and looking back at a version of ourselves that feels strangely distant.

Maybe that's why these comparisons hit so hard.

It's not just about delayed games or long-awaited sequels. It's about realizing that life kept moving while we were waiting for the next chapter.

One day, we'll look back at this era too.

And the things we're waiting for today will become memories of a time when we were younger, had fewer responsibilities, and couldn't wait to see what happened next.

Time really does fly. Sometimes, you only notice when you compare the first chapter to the last.

HE'S GOT EMINEM PLAYING IN HIS HEAD. 😭

Imagine being trapped in a dark room, staring up at one of the most terrifying versions of Venom ever drawn...
And instead of thinking about survival, you suddenly start hearing Eminem. 💀
This comic perfectly captures the completely unpredictable relationship between a symbiote and its host. Venom is already terrifying enough on his own—massive, monstrous, covered in teeth and claws, and looking like something that crawled straight out of a nightmare.
Then the whole situation gets completely ruined by one sentence:
“Why am I hearing Eminem all of a sudden?” 😭
It's such a ridiculous contrast.
Venom looks like he's about to tear someone apart...
Meanwhile, Eminem is apparently providing the soundtrack.
And honestly, that's one of the funniest things about Venom comics. The character can switch from genuinely terrifying to completely unserious in seconds.
Fun fact: Venom's symbiote and Eddie Brock don't always agree on everything. Their relationship is essentially a partnership between two very different personalities, which is why moments like this work so well.
The man has superhuman strength, shapeshifting abilities, insane regeneration, and a terrifying appearance...
But apparently his biggest weakness is getting a random Eminem song stuck in his head. 😭🎧
