ARYA
Straynge
ARYA is a Northern NSW-based DJ, curator and founder of Straynge Events, known for dark, progressive and hypnotic psychedelic journeys with an extra melt.
Driven by a deep passion for underground culture, community and immersive dancefloor experiences, Arya has spent the past few years not only refining her sound, but also channeling her energy into creating transformative events within the Northern NSW & QLD East Coast scene. Through Straynge Events, she has cultivated spaces that celebrate connection, expression and cutting-edge psychedelic music, bringing together artists, dancers and dreamers alike.
Her performances have taken her to dancefloors around the globe, including Mo:Dem, Bucht der Träumer, Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Dragon Dreaming, Splendour in the Grass, Wild Horses, Antigravity and Twisted Frequency.
Arya’s sound is a dynamic blend of dark, light, hypnotic & playful. Her sets oscillate between lushly groovy contrasts & heavier, driving impacts, creating a visceral adventure that unfolds seamlessly from day to night. Each performance is a masterful modulation of energy, flowing with the dancefloor’s pulse while offering an immersive experience within the dark-psychedelic realm.

DOONZ

Artist Spotlight 🌳 ARYA // KARVI S 🌳

A long time friend of the Church, Arya has been a prominent artist in the Australian psychedelic scene for the better part of the last decade.

Her certifiably steezy, sturdy and simply sensational sets have seen her perform at almost every major festival country wide and taken her overseas to destinations like Mo:Dem and Bucht Der Traumer. 🦇

We’re stoked to welcome her to the Church of Techno decks for the first time, as we celebrate the launch of Earth Frequency Festival 2026. Expect a unique fusion set of her two projects: ARYA (dark progressive) and KARVI S (minimal psy-techno).
