Walk the Plank Marcus Washington.
A giant thanks to @traveling_climber for the work replacing the 90’s cold shuts to modern day stainless steel. Let’s pay homage to the OG sport climbing developers of Eastern Washington with continued access to safe climbing and appreciation of their vision. #anchorreplacement #safeclimbing #washington #sportclimbing

Have you been to The Ovens in this summer or fall? It is Red Lodge's most beginner friendly crag with a short approach, a variety of 5.5 to 5.10 routes, amazing views, good belays, and top access to most routes! 🧗

This summer, with hardware donated from the @asca_bolt_replacement, we were able to equip almost every route with mussy hooks! In addition we replaced some aging anchors and added a few glue ins to one of the more runout routes. 🙌

To help support the SMCC's mission and to stay up to date via our monthly newsletter you should become a member! We are proud to say that we now offer joint membership with the @accessfund! Become a member today at the link on our website below...

A few of the more than 120 HCA coil anchors I recently replaced on Prime Rib, along with my friends @zwintersphoto, Will Parke-Hoffman, and Greg Langkamp. I have no idea why there are at least 4 different outer markings on these, but take a good look so you will be able to recognize the pattern in the wild. There are still quite a few of these bolts out there, even as we're finally making a dent in them.

Thank you @asca_bolt_replacement and @washingtonclimbers and @mvclimbers for sponsoring the new hardware. Donations to these organizations are always appreciated. (If you want to specifically support the Prime Rib rebolt, @mvclimbers is a great place to send your benjamins!)

@dwalters2 and the crew had a productive morning at Deep Creek. They replaced the 2nd bolt on Under the Influence, replaced the 3rd bolts to It’s Like That and Russian Arete, added a bolt to It’s Like That to address the 10’ run out. Reinforced and removed loose holds to reduce dangerous scenarios on Naked Man, Belly Rubber, The Roach, Red Hair, and The Pillar. And lastly replaced sharp perma draws low on the Pillar, added perma draws to Molting and Under The Influence. Your membership dollars at work! Thank you for the continued support.

Fixed aluminum draws are sketch.

Replaced this aging aluminum carabiner at Cascade today on Gentle Hoe. If you’re out climbing in the Durango area and see something sketchy like this feel free to contact @thedurangoclimberscoalition and we’ll inspect and replace with proper steel hardware.

Happy (and safe) climbing ⚡️

Last Monday @thedurangoclimberscoalition did a hardware upgrade at our local beloved Golf Wall.
