Empowering all humans to move with mindful joy

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tacoma Pride has given us a full month of celebration, visibility, joy, and community. 🌈

As Pride Month comes to a close, the real question becomes: How do we continue carrying that sense of authenticity and belonging into our everyday lives?

Belonging: A Post-Pride Breathwork Integration is just over ONE WEEK AWAY, and this gathering is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what it truly means to belong not just during Pride, but every day.

While this experience centers LGBTQIA+ voices and lived experiences, everyone is welcome. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, we all navigate identity, authenticity, connection, and the desire to feel seen, accepted, and at home within ourselves. This event is an opportunity to come together with curiosity, compassion, and an open heart.

Together we’ll experience:
✨ A guided somatic check-in and community sharing circle
🌬️ A 90-minute somatic breathwork journey designed to help you move beyond the thinking mind and into the wisdom of your body
💬 A closing conversation with facilitators from @thetspottacoma exploring labels, identity, and creating more inclusive communities

📍 Ascent Fitness
3914 Center St.
Tacoma, WA 98409

🗓️ Sunday, August 2
⏰ 3:00–6:00 PM (please arrive by 2:45 PM)

Bring a yoga mat, blankets, pillow, eye mask (optional), comfortable clothing, and water to create a cozy space for your journey.

If you’ve been looking for a space to reconnect with yourself, build meaningful community, and integrate the spirit of Pride beyond the celebration, we’d love to have you with us.

Belonging: A Post-Pride Breathwork Integration

To be human is to continually explore who we are. Throughout our lives, we move through seasons of growth, change, and self-discovery, learning to recognize the energy that feels most authentic, alive, and aligned within us. We navigate the influences of family, culture, expectations, and community while asking ourselves: Who am I beneath it all? What parts of me feel most true? How do I cultivate a deeper sense of belonging within myself?

Belonging begins not with fitting in, but with reconnecting to the felt experience of who we are. This experience is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body, and explore authenticity, identity, and what it truly means to belong within yourself and in community.

Together we’ll experience:
🌀 A guided somatic check-in & community sharing circle
🫁 A full 90-minute somatic breathwork journey
🌈 A closing conversation with The T Spot exploring labels, separation, and belonging within the LGBTQ+ community

This experience centers LGBTQ+ lived experiences while warmly welcoming allies who are committed to showing up with curiosity, respect, and care. Together, we’ll co-create a space rooted in presence, compassion, and connection.

What does collective survival feel like in our bodies?

Join me for *Somatics of Our Collective Survival*

July 19, 2026 | 11am–2:30pm

@350tacoma on Puyallup Ave

This experiential workshop explores how we build the capacity to stay connected—to ourselves, each other, and the world around us—during times of rapid change & challenge. Through movement, rhythm, reflection, and relational practice, we’ll cultivate the neuro-coherence and collective skills needed to meet this moment together.

Whether you’re a community tender, cycle-breaker, healer, organizer, artist, or a community member longing for deeper connection, you’re welcome here.

Do you want to learn about the pelvic floor anatomy at a workshop or should I skip it? Tell me in the comments so I don’t waste your time if you don’t want it!👇

I’m back at @ascent.fit for a Pelvic Floor & Core for Everybody Workshop this month.

Join me as we dive into the good stuff and cover:

• The anatomy of both your local/deep and global core (or NOT? 👀)

• Connecting your breath and core

• Building strength from the inside out

• Foundational skills to maintain stability in and outside of the gym

• How common symptoms like peeing during a workout or low back pain are actually a sign of a bigger disconnect with your core
