A POEM FOR OUR 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY:

A lot has changed in 10 years
But not my love for you
Our love fits just like a glove
This I know is true

The love glove is a glove for hearts
And not a glove for hands
“My hands instead will hold YOUR heart,”
I say, as a humble man

The love glove glove is made of love
Not leather or wool so fair
And when I wear the love glove glove
It is my heart I wish to share

And when I take the love glove off
My tears begin to fall
So I quickly put the glove back on
And have no more tears at all!

These last 10 years were made for love
And yes also made for hearts
It is your love gloved hand I wish to hold
Until we’re a COUPLE OF OLD FARTS 🤣🤣🤣

As Illinois lawmakers finalize the FY27 budget, advocates across the state are calling for investments that support our families, strengthen the workforce and ensure children get the education and support they need when it matters most!

Early childhood programs can change the course of a child’s life, especially Early Intervention services. Too many Illinois families are waiting weeks or even months to get the care their children are legally entitled to receive.

When delays happen in the earliest years of life, the impact can last far beyond childhood. Join us today in advocating for our youngest community members. #childhoodeducation

There’s something beautifully full-circle about celebrating Earth Day through the world of Shel Silverstein 🌎🍪

In The Giving Tree, a tree gives and gives… a quiet reminder that the Earth has always been generous, even when we forget to be. 🌍

And in Falling Up, the world feels a little upside down and playful… kind of like turning extra dough, icing, and cookie scraps into something new instead of letting them go to waste. 🍪

This Earth Day, maybe we do things a little differently.
We give back. We waste less. We notice more. 🌱

🌿 reuse what you can (even the tiny bits of dough)
💧 small habits add up
♻️ creativity can be sustainable

Because the goal isn’t just to take from the Earth… it’s to leave it a little sweeter than we found it.

Happy Earth Day 🌎✨

We walk for all kids. We walk for their future.
It’s time to turn this bus around, back to the drawing board, where children come first. When we center our children, a brighter future is inevitable. #indivisible #forourchildren #thefutureisbright

No Kings 3: Lots of posters. One message. No kings, just people, power, and a future we build together.
