Well, this is pretty freaking cool. Brooke and I are in PEOPLE Magazine!! I always knew my hot wife would end up in a magazine someday. Just never thought I’d be lucky enough to be in it with her. 😂❤️

Never thought I’d see the day where our wedding pictures would be in the same magazine as @michaelkirkdouglas and @halleberry lol.

Almost 23 years ago, my big brother Michael saved Brooke’s life through organ donation. Now, all these years later, she’s my wife. It’s still pretty crazy to think about how everything worked out.

What’s even crazier is that PEOPLE has a circulation of around 2 million copies across print and digital, with the potential for millions more people to read it. To think that Michael’s story could reach that many people almost 23 years after we lost him is just incredible.

It’s been an absolutely wild few months, and we’re still trying to wrap our heads around how far our story has traveled.

A huge thank you to @people people and @ash.robinette for sharing our story and helping keep Michael’s memory alive.

From the perfect setting in one of our favorite places on Earth – the Florida Keys – to the people who filled our hearts and surrounded us with so much love, the entire weekend was everything we dreamed it would be: intimate, joyful, deeply personal, and unforgettable. More than any single detail, we will always remember the love, laughter, and happiness that made every moment so special.

Yesterday I posted about four years married to my best friend and love ❤️.

Today, People Magazine covered it.

They quoted these words.

“My dad walked us both down the aisle that day. The only parent we had left between us. And he showed up like he always has. That moment became a book. That book became a framework.”

I keep thinking about the six year old boy who arrived in Brooklyn in 1986 not speaking a word of English.

He could not have imagined any of this.

@people EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE of @brocktalks and @camryngrimes beautiful wedding in New Orleans on Nov 8th at the @thecolumnshotel.
