Come one, come all to a fantastic evening of live entertainment featuring performances from local, national and international stars. This year's Festival of Wonder Gala Evening is sure to amuse, amaze and inspire.

Step into a wonderful woodland world as you collect your complimentary glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternative) on arrival, then settle in for an incredible evening of music and circus.

Begin your Saturday evening in the company of incredible Stroud-based singer-songwriter Asha McCarthy with her amazing guitar and music loops, performing her unique songs which blends her background in North Indian classical music with Irish folk.

Then prepare to be amazed by our specially commissioned circus show, ‘The Briar And The Bramble’, written and directed by Andy Bewley. Featuring performances from acrobat and aerialist duo Klodi & Yann (straight from the West End’s ‘Come Alive’ spectacular), champion juggler Gordon Marquez (returning by popular demand – last seen at the 2023 Festival), sensational stage magician Marco Cardoso and, for the first time, a live band, the show takes us on a journey to discover wonder in the most unlikely places.

Finally, finish the evening in the company of one of Gloucestershire’s Favourites as Tweedy the Clown takes to the stage.

This event is one of the few paid events at this year's Festival. By buying your ticket you are helping ensure that others who may not be able to afford such events can experience a Wonderful Weekend too. Thank you for supporting us!

Remembering this moment — so much happiness during the Bhairavi Puja, with Asha playing so beautifully (and it’s her birthday today!) 🌺🕉️✨

Sunday night at a packed-out Subs - listening to @marthatilston and @asha_mccarthy - possibly the very best start-to-the-week that there could be! It felt like being bathed in sunlight and soothed by balm… 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Dear friends,
We warmly invite you to a Bhakti Gathering on Saturday, 31st January 2026, at St. Michael’s Parish Hall, Bristol, from 12:00 – 18:00. 🌸
This gathering is dedicated to Maa Sarasvati, goddess of wisdom, learning, music, and creativity.
Through the offering of kirtan and puja, we open ourselves to her presence and invite her blessings of clarity, harmony, and beauty. In our lives, this means allowing wisdom to soften our interactions—choosing words that uplift rather than divide, and seeking understanding before judgment.
As we return to our daily lives, may the blessings of this day ripple outward—nourishing our families, our work, and our world with peace, kindness, and joy.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
With love,
Tino & Tara
UK Bhakti Gatherings Team
Tickets available on the 5th of October! 🎟️

When they were tiny, I would sing to them as they slept in my arms, on my shoulder, on my chest.

Now they're bigger and in their beds, we still sing at bedtime. It relaxes them, soothes them, comforts them, calms their nervous system. And it does all that for me too.

Whatever age your little ones are, your singing voice will always provide comfort and reassurance and help them drift off to sleep.

Join me to learn some lullabies and soul soothing songs - they will serve you for many years to come. This one is Rest My Love by @asha_mccarthy. I learnt it from @singing_mamas_org Songline back in lockdown, before I trained as a Community Leader, and I've been singing it to my boys ever since.

You can join me for Singing Mamas @pottonhallforall on Wednesday mornings from this week. I'll also be @happybodypro with @lucy___rowland on Sat 27th Sept with a Singing Mamas taster for Movement for Mamas.
