~ 💚 ~ 💚 ~ 💚

Like so many others around the world I have been completely caught up in Glen’s passing & have spent a lot of time watching the coverage 💔

I’m so grateful for my yoga practice, which keeps me tethered, and my job as a yoga teacher. Teaching yoga has saved my life over and over again, has given me a reason to keep showing up & doing so with a smile on my face and an open heart

For the rest of the week you can catch me

~ Wednesday 6:15pm
~ Thursday noon
~ Friday 5pm
⬆️ @reddiamondyoga

~ Saturday 9 - 10:20 teaching in Nina’s space @ashala.la *note this is not on the ashala website as it’s separate from the ashtanga program; Nina is gracious enough to let me use the space*

Will more info on Saturday class later this week.

Love to see you 🩵

A little memory from last Sunday’s Chai and Chat (trademark pending) event at @ashala.la. We were lucky enough to have the chai wallah himself, @souljerky, stirring behind the tea pot followed by a little talk about palm reading with the AShalaLA locals and new friends! Looking forward to more Shala gatherings this summer.

from a quiet mind may wisdom arise. be discerning of the chatter that poses as productivity vs an honest and bare observation. that QUIET voice that only speaks ONCE. that one that can only be heard INBETEEEN happenings right from the STILLNESS. to bear witness to this guide, let alone pursue its suggestion, is the only orientation required for our natural assimilation into the symphonic cosmic web // some stillness in sounds this sunday 5p @ashala.la $33 early birdy and bipoc discounts avail // 🕸️❤️

Saturday Old School Yoga

9 - 10:20am
4369 Melrose Ave
Los Angeles 90029

Last September, having lost my home at Center For Yoga & the Saturday morning class I had been teaching for years, I began teaching at an old school yoga shala in East Hollywood - @ashala.la whose owner Nina, has been extraordinarily generous.

I love this space, it’s simple & the vibe is just right. We are a small but avid group of yogins, some of whom I’ve known for 2 decades, others not quite as long. I love them all.

We practice strong but don’t take it too seriously, there’s always laughter & hugs. I still give a lot of #handsonassists which is apparently quite the rarity these days.

Love you to come & join us. All are welcome. Enter via green door at back.

DM if you have any questions.
Love,
Dearbhla 💙
