Here are some of my favourite frames and moments from the #Nautilus finale episode! It's hard to do this one without spoilers, so if you haven't watched it, don't swipe. (But also, it's been on @primevideouk for 6 weeks now, so if you haven't watched it then sorry not sorry? 😊🤷🏼‍♀️)

One of the greatest gifts for me in getting to make Nautilus was that all 3 of my episodes were epic in scale but vastly different in tone and setting. So it kind of felt like we were making 3 movies, with a crossover of the fantasy, adventure and action genres, all tied together by @jdormer's excellent writing and the beautiful intimate performances from the whole cast.

And the finale episode is probably my favourite one out of the three, because I really think it's a beautiful, epic conclusion to this incredible journey the Nautilus characters have been on, but also because it features some of the biggest and most epic sequences I've ever had the chance to work on. (Fun fact, I had to start filming a section of the big finale battle sequence 2 weeks after arriving in Australia to start prep because a set needing shooting out! ✌🏻)

I won't bore you all any further with repeating yet again what a joy it was to do this show and how much I appreciate everyone I got to work with BUT IT'S TRUE and I really hope that those of you who have had the chance to see it could feel all the love and hard work that went into it. ❤️🙌🏻

Nautilus is of course still available on @primevideouk and @stanaustralia and will be available to watch on AMC in the US soon!

Here are some of my favourite frames and moments from #Nautilus episode 9. I had never tackled anything nearly as gigantic as this episode before... From an underwater treasure hunt to a battle on a cliff top to a natural disaster, there is A LOT going on. 😃🎉

And what an unbelievably fun experience it was to film this episode! Many of my happiest memories from the entire Nautilus shoot are from filming episode 9 scenes. We had the most EXTRAORDINARY team of guest actors and stunt performers playing our Valkyries, led by the incredible #AnnaTorv, @leeannawalsman and @libbykay__. As fierce as they were funny, they stepped into the mad little world of Nautilus with so much ease and openness.

I will post more about the stunt team because their brilliance very much deserves its own mention.

And beyond the amazing guest stars, our own Nautilus gang really shine in this episode. It features the biggest battle sequence of the season, and I'm still taken aback to this day by the unbelievable level of skill, commitment and energy the cast put into it, 9 months into filming this show. 🔥💥❤️‍🔥

And of course, the art and VFX departments had their hands a bit full on this episode and honestly blew us all away with their craft.

I am so very proud of this episode and hope that those of you who have seen it enjoyed it! 🙂💙

All episodes of Nautilus are available to watch on @primevideouk and @stanaustralia and will be streaming on @amc_tv soon!

Some of my favourite stills and moments from #Nautilus episode 8! I've always had so much love for this episode. For a few reasons: 1. It is both visually and emotionally probably the darkest episode of the series, and the first time we really get to hear everyone's story, in their own words. 2. This was the first time I've ever had the opportunity to work on building creatures, both physically and through VFX. The sea bugs and their beautiful, chunky queen were such a joy to bring to life and an enormous team effort. I will elaborate a little on how we did this in my stories! 🪲🤓 3. This was the final episode we shot, and the big finale scene was the final scene we filmed with the whole Nautilus cast together. Hence, a lot of those raw emotions in their performances were very real and made for some of the most unforgettable days of filming Nautilus.

As always, shot by the incredible @bennottdp and designed by the bonkers genius that is @davidleeofficial. ❤️🙌🏻

All episodes of Nautilus are available on @primevideouk in the UK and Ireland and @stanaustralia in Australia.

My favourite #Nautilus BTS picture! We were filming a scene for episode 10 when @xavmarch told me to join the cast for a second so we could take a nice still, which he then had a print made of and signed by everyone for me as a wrap gift. 😊🙏🏻

This scene is very much the "Avengers assemble moment" for the Nautilis crew, which kicks off the action-packed finale! It was filmed on location in the beautiful town of Ipswich, Queensland. 😎🙌🏻

Episode 10 was really fun to make for many reasons, but particularly because it was the only one of my episodes that had quite a lot of location work!
