Whew!!!!!! What a wonderful time Friday was, Une Bonne Mort was THE BEST!!!!! So many truly intentional people, doing the actual work shared knowledge and tips. People held space for people they didn’t know, people took covid tests, and lots of people masked, people shared numbers and asks for help.
Thank you to the folks who helped set up, thank you to the folks who volunteered the day of, thank you to the people who spoke, thank you to our sponsors, thank you to the attendees online and in person.

Une Bonne Mort is a representation of what can happen in community. It was started and has continued to be a space where we can freely talk about the tough sticky topics that really impact our life and our care.

It becomes tiresome hearing from the same people about topics they don’t even understand. When a providers positionality prevents them from even cracking the surface of understanding— we need advocates. We learned so much, together, on Friday.

Thank you for caring about each other and showing up.

Throw back to 2019 on the day A Sacred Passing shifted south a hundred miles or so!
Kristi, Alisha and Asha were there from the jump to help move things during the shift from Ashley’s leadership in Bellingham to Lashanna’s in Seattle.

In honour of Mother’s Day, we say thank you to the human who birthed ASP into reality. Thank you Ashley for doin all that and the trust when you gave this baby to community to hold and grow.

What magic we have made in 5 years. We have grown this beautiful seed into a one of a kind educational and care organization. We have some of the most brilliant programming when it comes to developing your care skills, specifically associated with dying and death.

Thank you for riding with us during our tween years 🖤 🐦‍⬛ 🖤
