Happy born day to the most beautiful, myself. Nobody likes you when you’re 23, and maybe that’s why I spent most of last year thinking I was 24. So here’s to(another) shot at 24! This ones going to be a good one. My first time being 24 taught me so much, here’s a few highlights:
1. I loved and loved and loved - mostly plants, but a few humans
2. I traveled with (@imani_nami ) and to my best friends (the Kweens, @melindaescobar, @miliavinette, @laurenbsumner)
3. I survived a break up and T H R I V E D.
4. I went vegan and discovered what normal people feel like when they live without constant aches and pains
5. I invested into myself and career
6. I made some of the best girl friends of my life
7. I finally made a home out of DC
8. I got into 8 of my DREAM schools and learned maybe don’t apply to 10 programs next time
9. I learned how to master the dance floor alone (and the ‘I don’t need no man hand-move)
10. I learned to be happy alone (w/ my plant family)
Here’s to another year of life. More life, more blessings. 📷 @ankruu

The best compliment one can receive is when a blind man calls you beautiful, but it is always nice when someone tells you that you've got a nice face. #20beautifulwomen

I usually don't do these things but I was nominated 3 times for the #20beautifulwomen by 3 beautiful people in my life @shannonpurcelll @timetofacetheworld and @hitapole. I feel beautiful when I spend time with friends that inspire me, lift me up and make me laugh until I cry. I've tagged just a few people that make me happy ☺️
