Ironman Texas 2022
.
Congratulations to every triathlete who took on a hot and windy day in The Woodlands.
.
Extremely excited and proud of the following @nvdmcoaching athletes who raced on Saturday
.
@the_simonshi finished his 2nd Ironman, after coming out of the water in 4th, ended up placing 22nd PRO male, in a PR time of 9:13.
.
@todd.giardinelli did his first triathlon in over 20 years, his first Ironman ever ( on a bet ) and placed 2nd AG in 9:51 and earned his spot to Kona 🌺
.
Lauren Hite ( @miss_mx ) did her first triathlon ever !!!!
Came 2nd in her very competitive AG, 10th overall, earning her spot on the @nvdmcoaching Elite team with her placement. Just missing her Kona slot as there was only 1 to be given out. 10:29 finish time.
.
@sharp_tahoe had a tough day with a rubbing wheel for 112 miles, but fought it out for the finish to place 11TH AG in just his 2nd Ironman. 10:13 finish time.
.
@ashgeorgetx - placed 5th in her age group in her first Ironman and had to really close hard to hold that position in a strong field. 11:36 time
.
Frederic cousin has his highest age group placement ever - 11th in the mens 55-60 Age group

Paul Scheuren had a strong day, to finish his 5th Ironman to date.

@swimbikerunatx took over an hour off his time from doing this race in October of last year 🥳
.
Wendy sharp just wanted to finish. Her goal was 16:59 and she finished in 13:34 even after a massive crash on the bike !! An incredible day for her !

@the_juicyjake - finished his first Ironman and hated it 😂 but always managed to smile and pull out some sort of dance moves when i saw him. ( coached by @brainsandbrawncoach )

@blajoh28 - “ be in the race Blake” lol. Amazing day for her considering the ITB issues she had leading into it. Just to finish was a massive accomplishment and can’t wait to see what she can do fully healthy.

John Thompson was solid across the board finishing 21st in his AG in 11:27 ( coached by @brainsandbrawncoach )

Well done crew !!

Iron Man Texas 2022
This was an amazing experience. When Ashton told me she was training for this I had no idea how hard and how possible this would be. So proud of her hard work, determination, strength and grit. She is not only an Iron Man, but won fifth place in her age division. Great Job Baby Girl!!
