🚨 INTRODUCING OUR ACTS 🚨

Ash Clark in our newbie slot 🙌🏻

Ash made their stand-up debut at Hot Water Comedy Club in March 2026 after completing the PSS Stand Up for Mental Health course.

Backed by amazing support from family and friends, they’ve decided to jump into comedy headfirst with Bliss Comedy as their very first show as a named act.

We know the Bliss regulars will give them a warm welcome!

What a wonderful bank holiday open mic we had last night for Witty Whippet at @kabin.bar

It was lovely to see some newer faces stepping on the stage last night - all contributing to the ever growing North West open mic scene.

The room was full of amazing people that kept the energy high until the very end of the evening. Thank you to everyone that came and spent their evening with us!

We run every week, so come down next Monday, and everyone after that to join us for another great night of open mic comedy!

If you build it, they will come!

Last night was our biggest and best open mic yet and it’s so pleasing to see this night grow into such a great and safe space for comedians, both new and experienced, to test their material.

We had someone making the their comedy debut and 2 other comedians performing for only their second time 🙌🏻

We had a full audience and 12 comedians and it was filled with laughs from start to finish.

Thanks to the audience for supporting live comedy, we couldn’t do without you!!

And a massive thank you to Golfo at Indigo for providing the venue and allowing the night to breathe and grow. Your hospitality is first class!

The next Bliss Comedy night is on 15 May and the next open mic is on 24 June.

Thanks to our acts Kevin O’Brien, Tom Owen, Friday, Amy Nic, John Boyd, Fil Milton, Ash Clark, Ryan Woods, Joe Fleetwood-Smith, Darren Hawes, Jake Hawkes and Nelle Keeler and our host Mary Cross

Bluebirds volunteer at the RWC 💙

🌍🏉 The Rugby World Cup is well under way, and it’s not just about the action on the pitch — it’s about the people who make it happen behind the scenes.

From accessibility and sponsorship protection to stocking up changing rooms for the players, some of our very own Bluebirds are volunteering at the tournament, giving their time, energy, and passion to Rugby.

We asked them a few fun questions — here’s what they had to say! 💬✨
