❤️ What do I love about Ashland?

It’s the people. It’s the community. It’s the incredible spirit of a city that continues to inspire me every single day.

As we approach Election Day, I find myself reflecting on what makes Ashland so special and why I believe so deeply in its future.

In Question 4 of my Ashland Chamber of Commerce interview, I share what I love about this city and why I believe our greatest chapters are still ahead of us.

Ashland is more than a place we call home. It’s a community worth investing in, protecting, and helping thrive.

Let’s build a future worthy of the city we love. 💙

Tonight is the night of the Southern Oregon Gallery Association’s Open Studios AFTERPARTY, hosted by me and my studiomates at the Enclave Studio Collective, 1661 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, Oregon, starting at 6 pm.

I was at my art studio until 1:00 this morning (!!) getting the place all spiffed up for you. Not only do I have some of my classic “Bee Habitat in Cyanotype” pieces up on the wall, I’ve also got greeting card packs, Bee Girl Honey, a few Bee Regenerative totes, and some work from my “experiment wall” on sale for a great price.

I’m motivated to clear off my studio walls to make room for an exhibition from my 2026 fieldwork, so I’m happy to host my first-ever studio sale, with most pieces discounted around 50%.

In addition to the art, you’ll find all sorts of curiosities from my fieldwork that I can’t wait to tell you all about.

FAQs

Can I come if I’m not an artist? Yes!! Also, we are all artists in our own way.

Do I have to have gone on the Open Studios tour to come? Not at all! I would love it if you pounded the pavement and took in all of the art, but if this is the only studio you visit, that is totally fine!

What’s the vibe of the party? Is there a dress code? Come as you are! Dress up or dress down. We’ll have a live Brazilian band, Tres Palomas, and the vibes will be pretty chill this year.

Do I need a ticket to get in? Nope! The doors open at 6 pm, and no tickets or reservations are required. We’ll even have a bee-utiful charcuterie spread and wine from our Bee Friendly Vineyard partners just for you!

I’m really proud at the work I’ve done in the studio, and can hardly wait to open the doors and see you tonight!
