Up next in our #KeepingUpWithAUDT series is first year member, Ashlee! Read what she has to say below:

Hi! I’m Ashlee, an incoming freshman at AU and I am so excited to be joining the team! I keep busy outside of dance by hanging out with friends. I can usually be found rhinestoning, choreographing, looking for costumes, or just dancing around whatever space I am in.

I recently graduated from Braintree High School and I had a great senior year with my studio! I danced at Bridget’s dance studio for 15 years and I competed with them for 11!

One of my biggest accomplishments was being awarded the Industry Dance Awards people’s choice award at Turn it up Dance Challenge with my teammates for one of our group dances! I am so excited to begin working with my new teammates this summer and can’t wait to see what is in store for us!

I traveled to the Bahamas with some of my friends, and I was even able to meet up with my new teammate, Summer! We had so much fun chilling out my the pool and dancing, which was of course my favorite part.

Recently, I competed at the Spirit of Dance Awards nationals and got both 1st and 2nd place on my solos! (1st place being with my self choreographed solo!)

As for the rest of the summer, I am so excited to go on new adventures and continue my dance training! I am beyond excited to begin at Assumption University in the fall and get to know this amazing team even better!
