It’s crazy to think I’m on my way to Antarctica for the 4th time. My camera has taken me to some incredible places around the world, but nothing compares to this remote continent, and I feel so privileged to get to snowboard among the penguins.

Thank you @iceaxeexpeditions for having me again. I am so freakin excited! Let’s go!

“I left Ushuaia as from an unwanted tomb.”

That’s how Bruce Chatwin described his departure from the city at the end of the world in his famous book “In Patagonia” from the 1980th.

I feel quite the opposite.

I can hardly wait to be back.

The mountains above the Beagle Channel, the wind, the snow, and that extraordinary sense of being at the very edge of the world.

But most of all, I’m looking forward to seeing so many good friends and fellow mountain guides from Ice Axe Expeditions again.

We’ll start with some beautiful ski touring around Glaciar Martial, warming up our legs before setting sail for our Antarctic expedition.

Sometimes the end of the world is exactly where you want to be.

Today we celebrate the women who guide, climb, skin, send, and support each other at every elevation.
We’re incredibly grateful for all the ladies who make what we do in the mountains possible!
The mountains are better because you’re in them. 💙

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re overflowing with gratitude for the Ice Axe community that made this our biggest and most unforgettable year yet. Together, we wandered farther into the wild—crossing continents, sailing remote coastlines, and drawing fresh lines down mountains that keep our love for exploration alive. From polar horizons to high-alpine dreams, every journey proved what’s possible when curious, committed people show up with open hearts and bold spirits.

Thank you for the trust, the energy, the laughter, and the shared moments that turned trips into lifelong memories. We’re so proud of what we built together this year—and we can’t wait to see where the next adventure leads. Here’s to new lines, new places, and an even bigger 2026. Happy New Year ❄️✨

Together, we embarked on …

14 expeditions with
223 incredible guests in
9 countries across
7 continents led by
41 world-class mountain guides.

We can’t wait for more. Thank you and Happy New Year! ✨🍾❄️
