September is Suicide Prevention Month 💜

This month is something that is very near and dear to my heart. Working in the mental health field, I see firsthand how much people can carry while still showing up, smiling, working, and taking care of everyone else.

And if I’m being transparent, this is a reminder I need sometimes too. You never truly know what someone may be carrying behind the version of themselves they show the world.

Ashletics has never been just about a workout. Yes, we move, get stronger, sweat, and challenge ourselves but more than anything, I want this community to be a place where people feel supported, connected, seen, and reminded that they don’t have to have everything together to show up.

Sometimes showing up means finishing the workout. Sometimes it means slowing down. Sometimes it means asking for help.

Check on your people. Check on the strong friend. Check on yourself too. 🤍

You matter more than you know.

THE MOMENT I WANTED TO QUIT
Five minutes. One AMRAP. Kettlebell swings, goblet-to-push press, and push-ups.
It sounded simple enough—until I reached the four-minute mark.
My body was exhausted. My mind was begging me to stop. For a moment, I felt vulnerable because I couldn’t push through the way I wanted to.
But then I realized something:
Struggling doesn’t make me weak. Giving up would be the easy choice.
Strength isn’t always about feeling powerful. Sometimes, strength is simply staying in ther fight when every part of you is telling you to quit.
So I hung on.
One more rep.
One more breath.
One more push.
And somehow, I finished.
Because strength isn’t measured by how easy the challenge feels. It’s measured by your willingness to finish when the odds are against you. 🔥💪
Keep going. Your strongest version is built in the moments you want to quit the most. Thanks @trufusion_satxrim @ashley__m_g for believing in me
