🍂 Harvest Fall Festival was all about bringing the community together, celebrating our culture, and supporting the small businesses and local artists that make our community special.

From the music and laughter to the connections made throughout the event, it was a great reminder of the importance of creating spaces where our community can come together and support one another.

A special shout-out to Ricardo, Komasee, and La Colmena in Santa Ana for hosting and helping bring everyone together for such a great event. Thank you for creating a space where culture, creativity, and community can thrive!

Ashley Baker is an Afro-Latina yoga and fitness instructor. Rooted in her Black and Mexican heritage, her practice uses movement, breath, and meditation as pathways to healing, connection, and empowerment.

Performance by @francis_co_music at 6:30pm !! 🎙️

Delivering the true stories of life in Santa Ana with a smooth baritone swagger, Francis Co. is a real modern-day troubadour. Often hard to categorize, his music has been called Mex-Americana, latin emo folk, and recently quinceañera surf punk but there is only one label that is true of all his music, honest. His music fights back against iniquities in the community and tells the stories of the unspoken.

Performance by @alexisre.fruits at 7:15pm !!🎙️

Alexis Ré is an acoustic soul musician that weaves her love for God, positivity, and a hope for a better world together in the messages she brings through her music. Rooted in oldies and Gospel, evolved through world music and sound healing, and grounded through the history of Black & Native appalachia where her ancestors are from... you’ll hear a whole world of influences come through her derived from a vast life experience of being a mixed girl in America that grew up steeped in Motown and decided to explore the mountains of her Indigenous roots with her guitar one day and kept it movin all the way to the west coast.

Spotify: Alexis Ré for some of her world music, and come to the show to hear what she’s working on now.

See you in the garden!

Performance by @koomasae and @thesonicdisciples at 8pm !! 🎙️

Two weeks. Two 3-mile runs. And baby, we’re BUILDING. 🏃🏽‍♀️💋✨

Chulería Run Club is about more than miles, it’s women choosing themselves, getting stronger, building community, laughing, sweating and showing up for each other.

3 miles for 2 weeks ✅
Next up: 4 MILES 😈

Our plan is simple: hold each distance for two weeks, then add another mile. No rushing. No pressure to be the fastest. We’re building endurance, confidence and community one mile at a time. 🫶🏽

Next Sunday we level up. Who’s running 4 with us? 👀🏃🏽‍♀️💋
