FREE 2-Hour Deep Dive: Expert speakers on Friday, October 30th, at 12pm ET

Too many women needlessly suffer through perimenopause, a critical inflection point clinical care still hasn't caught up to. Evidence-backed care here can change the trajectory of women's healthspan and longevity.
Join Calroy and multiple expert speakers, including integrative cardiologists, menopause specialists, and experts in the microbiome, supplement formulation, and mental health, to translate the inflection point into real clinical changes. Walk away ready to help more women live longer and better.

Together, we’ll explore:
- Current perspectives on women’s health from integrative cardiologists, menopause experts, and specialists in the microbiome, supplement formulation, and mental health
- The upstream inflection point that causes the cascade of felt experiences for women in midlife
- The unique approach and formulation for Calroy’s newest dietary supplement, Selentra HP for peri- and menopause*

The event is available exclusively to licensed healthcare providers and will conclude with an expert panel focused on bringing these perspectives together and applying them to the women you support every day.

My appetite didn't fade on a GLP-1. It was gone the next morning. Ashley Koff says that if you don't feel hungry at all, you may not be on the right dose, and she'd move your fiber to later in the week.

This week on the Commune Podcast, I sit down with Ashley Koff to break it all down.

More fiber. More protein. Lift heavier. 💪

It’s the standard advice, and it isn’t wrong. But as Ashley Koff, RD explains on the Vida Vitality Podcast, it isn’t always right for you.

Strength training works your muscles, and it also contracts your digestive muscles. If your gut is already struggling, piling on more weight, more protein and more fiber can make things worse.

So the question isn’t “how much?” It’s “what does your body need, and when?”

Ashley’s practical change: stop chasing one big daily total. Spread your water, fiber and protein across the day at regular “pit stops,” so your digestion can actually use what you give it.

Personalized nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated. It just has to be yours.

When I started tirzepatide, my appetite vanished overnight. So I asked registered dietitian Ashley Koff, author of Your Best Shot, what to eat on a GLP-1, and why the number on the scale can hide losses in muscle, bone and testosterone.

We get into why calories are only potential energy, how to eat in the first two days after a weekly shot, and how to use AI to quarterback your own healthcare.

It was an absolute pleasure to sit down today with @ashleykoffapproved and chat about weight health. She brought a new spin on it in a way I hadn’t heard before, and I found it really interesting!

We’re talking about the changes so many women notice in menopause: shifting appetite, unpredictable energy, and a body that seems to play by different rules.

Ashley shares her perspective on digestion, hunger and fullness, protein, fibre and hydration. We also discussed alcohol and how women using GLP-1 medications can support their muscle and bone health.

For this episode, comment PODCAST, and I will DM you the link.

Be sure to follow her on Instagram also!

What does Exceptional Health mean?
For me it’s vitality - to have the mental and physical energy to enjoy a purpose-driven life. To have the resilience necessary for weathering whatever challenges may present themselves. And of course, for me it’s being able to take ballet classes as long as I possibly can.

Now I want to hear from @drerikaschwartz
