A handful of photos to sum up some of January. It’s true, as you get older, time really starts to fly. I’ve been hearing this for years taking care of patients in the hospital. It’s hard to believe almost 6 years ago the whole world shut down due to a deadly virus.
Time flies and waits for no one. As I get older, I spend my time doing the things I love, because in an instant I know it can all be gone. These pictures are a snapshot of some of those things 😃
Attending protests with my friend and coworker @hoagn714 , meeting inspiring people at protests (especially those who have been resisting the empire for years now), Mochi and her bubblegum tongue 😛 celebrating and surprising my dad @bossozzie79 on his 80th birthday 🎂 beach days with the family, self care movie nights with Seester @ashozz and @mamaberna63
Walking in the snow, digging my car outta the snow 😂 community yoga Sundays with Ruairi , a generous thank you card from a patient ❤️ PS, patients have been far more generous to me throughout my nursing career than any CEO, CNO, executive yada yada EVER. Shocker right…
A second check from a commercial I did in October! The moon 🌕
While yes, the world is actively burning and people are being unalived in front of us daily here in the US and abroad, I do enjoy this life I have to the best of my ability, which I know is a privilege. And as long as I have that privilege you best believe I will be loud and fervent in my stance to preserve humanity.
Life is too short to be a shitty person who doesn’t care about the things that matter in this world. Don’t let time pass you by, knowing you could have done better, been better. We all deserve a better tomorrow (except for the billionaires, TRUMP, ICE, Zios, and any/all oppresors) 🤓
