Plot Thots Take the Lake: The Sequel!!

Had such an incredible book club retreat weekend with my Plot Thots 💕 Starting a book club is truly one of the best things I’ve ever done and I’m so proud of myself for being brave and doing it even when I literally thought no one would want to join 🥹

The last time we went to Disney together, we ran a marathon… and then immediately entered a global pandemic. So naturally, this trip had impossible standards to live up to. 😅

34,000+ steps.
12.5 miles walked.
15 rides.
Several NECESSARY park snacks.
Countless laughs.

And just when we were leaving the park, Mickey & Minnie popped up like they personally wanted to make sure we got our money’s worth. ✨

Truly a magical way to celebrate our birthdays.
Ashley Partington somehow brings out the version of me that says “we can definitely do one more ride” at 11:45 PM… and honestly, that’s friendship. 🏰🎂

I remember crying at the Pantages theatre years ago when I got my first audition for Modern Family.

After many auditions, I never wound up booking the show, so to witness the chemistry between @itsjuliebowen and @tyyburrell first hand on this project…their chill vibes, unparalleled kindness, curiosity about those around them and absolute comedic genius…it was a literal dream.

I learned so much on this shoot.

Meeting brave, strong, hilarious survivors (John, Jamie and mom Patsy) and hearing their stories left a huge impact on my heart.

I knew very little about Meningitis going into this job…and memorizing these lines felt more important than ever. Educating myself so this project could educate the world…

Thank you to @gsk @timmasonchicago @accomplicemedia @bonnie.efird and everyone who made this project possible and entrusted me to play Dr. Hall. I’m deeply honored.

@rosslacycasting every single day I get to walk into 200 South feels like I’m living the dream. THANK YOU for this awesome life.

⬆️ Seen this floating around? That right there was one of the most fun days I’ve ever had on set…

I had originally auditioned for a different role, so I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into the hotel that morning. When the directors told me I’d be playing a Marriott employee who was chosen to star in a documentary and was a little…awkward about it…I felt like I’d hit the comedy JACKPOT.

I memorized some bits on the spot and the team gave me so much freedom to improvise and play. I walked away feeling like there’s literally nothing I’d rather be doing…

THANK YOU to every human (and The Oregon Duck! …more on that later) who made me feel like Will Ferrell on set that day.
