@stonekingrally is the definitive alpine MTB journey. From the high passes of Europe’s Southwestern Alps to the Mediterranean Sea, the 6-day, 270km route takes in 22,000 vertical metres of incredibly varied singletrack descending.

With three rally editions behind it, and its predecessor Trans-Provence being the world’s first point-to-point multi-day enduro race, Stone King’s roots are firmly associated with racing.

But racing is arguably a tool in a wider scheme of bringing mountain bikers to these valleys; nowadays, the Stone King project focuses on trail maintenance and renovation, supporting local groups with ecotourism development, and providing the ultimate mountain biking experience for 140 riders annually.

The route’s rugged and varied terrain, its sometimes gruelling climbs and its endless epic descents are a test of body, spirit, bike and outerwear.

Back in the day when I was sponsored by Santa Cruz bicycles, Will Ockelton approached me and said hey were starting a women’s bike line and we want you to help us bring Juliana Bicycles to life….that was 13 years ago.

We’ve gone full circle now that I’m back on a Santa Cruz and closed the Juliana chapter. Thirteen years of Enduro, cross country, epic stage races, bike packing trips, crazy glacier mass start mayhems, bike launches, soul trails trips, events, races, rides, adventures, guided trips, coaching you name it - but most of all just bloody amazing times riding bikes with fucking awesome people in the most awe inspiring places all over the world. What an absolute ride it’s been. Best times of my life and I will be forever grateful for the love, support, the opportunities provided and for the tribe that was created.

So fired up for this next chapter of riding bikes ❤️💛💚

They are built between falls and new beginnings. Between tears and courage. Between what hurt and what taught. Being strong is not about feeling nothing. Pretty hard to put last week into words.
Our first @santacruzbicycles Owners Club week on the legendary @stonekingrally itinerary was an absolute blast.

Beyond the epic landscapes, endless singletrack and centuries-old towns, it's definitely the friendships created out on the trails that I’ll remember forever.

Thank you to everyone involved. I hope to see you all again soon.

Stone King Rally! Mountain biking doesn’t get better than that. Six absolutely magical days. One of the most incredible things I’ve ever been part of – the riding, the energy, the teamwork, the hysterical laughing… I’m leaving with stronger legs, new smile wrinkles, and the happiest heart.

Bravo, @santacruzbicycles and @stonekingrally. It’s hard to articulate what our eyes have seen and bodies experienced out there, but here’s a small collection from photo genius @maxschumann_ to give you an idea of the core memories we’ve just made. Some questionable raw audio clips to keep ya guessing.

A special shoutout to @ashtag.fresno for creating my favourite type of madness, to speed and style boy @loic_delteil who made the Santa Cruz Owners Club ride possible, to @maxschumann_ for steeze and banger photos, to Collin for the bike mods and unwavering grins, and to Santa Cruz getting behind the purest form of riding. An adventure like no other, and honestly wish that week never ended.
