This Libra’s birthday was a whole VIBE this year!! 🥳 Last Sunday, my big-hearted, sensational, sweet Sis @jessicafrancesdukes threw me the illest rooftop cookout EVA! She grilled and cooked a feast of my fav foods, had my fav dranks on deck (even a signature punch!), invited my tribe out, and they showed up and showed out! The views? STUNNING. The food? ELITE. The vibes? IMMACULATE.

To my LA framily, thank y’all for making this birthday pop in a way I haven’t felt in a while—I love y’all DOWN! And JESS… SISTER. 🥹 Words don’t do my gratitude justice for your generosity, your outpouring of your energy, your FIRE cooking skills (I mean you threw DOWWWWN, CHILE lol! 🤤), your sisterhood, your friendship. The lengths you went to to make this birthday special moves me to the core. Thank you from every corner of my heart, my Friend!!! 🙏🏽🥲💖

Btw y’all… if you look closely in the 1st 3 pics, you’ll see a rainbow that appeared in the sky right as we started taking pics. I know that I know that I know that was my baby brother, Matthew, wishing me Happy Birthday and you can’t convince me otherwise. 🌈🥹💙🦋

Oh and stay tuned… I have some pretty exciting news to share coming up. Let’s just say this new trip around the sun is starting out in thee most BEAUTIFUL way… 😉

With subtle, vulnerable performances from lead actors David J. Cork and Jared Wayne Gladly, 'Nana's Boys' focuses on the intimate life of a couple who are confronted with the fact that their relationship is not as solid as they thought. Forced into a mandatory lockdown in the wake of an explosion, lovers Amari and Q are left to consider their life together - and whether it's worth holding on to.

Closing out Pride Month with @ashtonsdreams talking about the importance of telling our open stories. Like he said, the stories we choose to tell right now set the terms for the next hundred. What gets made. What gets seen. What the next generation gets to point to and say, I want one like that. So document your life. Tell the story. Especially now.

This is the last Odejuma for the month of June, and I can’t think of a better note to end Pride Month on than this one. The full conversation is on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube , and everywhere you stream your podcasts. Link in my bio.

#ThrowbackThursday to a weekend I’ll remember forever.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Momma’s 73rd birthday and shower her with so much love. My heart is still smiling. We made memories that I’ll cherish forever.

Special thank you to @kamel.bentot for capturing these moments, @momntphotoboothco for the photo booth, @southerngirldesserts for the desserts, @pardi_gras_catering for catering, and @manlyhandz for always coming through to end Momma’s day with an amazing massage.

And to our village… thank you for taking time out of your day to come love on my momma. Y’all mean more to me than you know.

Round 3 at the Regent ✨🌊What a day. Ocean air, movement, music, community, laughter… and a whole lot of bounce.
Seeing people connect to the joy of movement in such a beautiful setting reminds me exactly why I created Z Bounce Fitness. Not just a workout. A reset for the body, mind & nervous system.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, bounced with us, smiled, sweated, flowed, and made today feel so special. More to come. 💙
