Here we gooooo, join us in welcoming @ashwilking aka Bad Ash to #TeamMomentum! 👏💃🏻

From her Louisiana roots to NYC city living, Ash has always known she was meant to coach and you’ve likely taken her classes at your favorite studios from Barry’s, to Rumble and now @tonal. Emerging back into the city with her new gorgeous baby Wren, Ash is your favorite follow for helping women realize they can do anything they want to. And she’s done it all from marathons, to Ironmans, to cycling to Canada, to cross country traveling with her new baby.

We couldn’t be more excited to have this legend on the team, welcome Ash! 🫶

I’m early in my training for my first 70.3 Ironman - (June 2027)

Over the past 5 years I’ve been focused on building muscle and putting on size - mainly hypertrophy training. I wanted to face a new challenge; something that would really require me to lock in and demand the most from me.

Right now I’m focused on building a base - not overly concerned with pace. Just building a rhythm and getting acclimated to the demands of the sport.

Keeping muscle and building strength is a priority for me through this entire process.

Weekly Structure:
M - Lift (H Push/Pull) + Swim
T - Lift (Legs / Hinge) + Easy Run
W - Long Swim + Rest (Dogs)
Tr - Lift (V Push /Pull) + Easy Swim +Hard Bike
F - Lift (Legs / Squat) + Easy Bike
S - Long Run / Zone 2
Su - Rest (Food)

This schedule is going to shift through the coming months and as I get closer to race day. I plan on documenting my entire journey along the way.

I have my first sprint triathlon on Aug 9th. That’ll be my first small test to see how I’ve been progressing.
I’ll be competing in the Clydesdale category (220lb+)

For anyone’s that competed in a 70.3 - share with me any tips and lessons learned 🙏💪
