My kids have a better social life than I do, and somehow I’m the one organising (and funding) the whole thing. 🙃😂 Between playgrounds, playdates, activities and weekend adventures, being a mum is basically a full-time events coordinator role. Thankfully, I’ve discovered @ask.andee 🙌🏼 Created by a Sydney mum, for Sydney parents, this clever little app has thousands of playgrounds, activities, classes and events all in one place. You can even find playgrounds with great cafés nearby, because if I’m spending my weekend chauffeuring two tiny humans around, the least I deserve is a decent coffee. ☕️ Less Googling, less scrolling and more time actually enjoying the day! Sydney parents, do yourselves a favour and download Ask Andee. 💗

Sunday’s playdate recap 🦀🍪🌈☁️ The sun was shining, snacks were eaten and parents got to finish a conversation. Almost. The best part was seeing so many little ones arrive already wearing their Luma hats, we couldn’t believe it🐛 Thank you to every family who packed half the house and spent the morning with us, and to the brilliant businesses that brought it all to life First one down. We’re ready for the next 🫧

Set up our first ever event with us ⭐️🫧🐛🌼 We spent the morning laying everything out, moving it around, moving it back again and making what we can on our little budget We’ve been so lucky to work with some incredible businesses to bring this morning to life, all with the same goal of creating a space for little ones to play and parents to meet each other 🐞 Recap incoming but thank you for everyone who joined us

A big shoutout to the wonderful Kate from @ask.andee , who joined us at The Baby Book Club recently 🤍 What Kate is building with Ask Andee is such a brilliant resource for parents, helping families discover classes, activities, experiences, playgrounds and places to go with their little ones. Because those things can be about so much more than simply filling a morning. They’re a reason to get out of the house on the harder days. A chance to meet other parents and find your people. A space to connect, watch your little one explore and learn, and make memories together. Early parenthood can be amazing, but it can also feel incredibly lonely at times. I love seeing people in this industry working to make it easier for parents to connect, explore and find experiences that make those early years (and beyond!) that little bit richer. Kate, thank you for coming along and capturing our little Book Club so beautifully. Keep doing what you’re doing 🤍 And if you’re discovering The Baby Book Club for the first time, hello! 👋 TBBC is a baby and toddler class for little ones aged 0–3, bringing stories to life through music, movement, props, instruments and sensory play. A space to connect with your little one, meet other parents and make some lovely memories together. 📍 Paddington, Sydney 📅 Mondays 👶 0–3 years, with age-appropriate and mixed-age options Come and join us for Term 4, starting Monday 19th October 📚🤍 #SydneyMums #SydneyBabyClasses #SydneyToddlerActivities #EasternSuburbsMums #paddingtonsydney

Do you believe in magic? 🪄 It comes in many forms and sometimes manifests from sugar, sponge and buttercream. Case in point, this magic set of magician theme cupcakes that accompanied Ari’s Magician’s Hat birthday cake. Are you as obsessed with them as I am?! Matching cupcakes honestly give me so much satisfaction and it can really help to visualise your dessert table when you see the cake and cupcakes together. So, if you’re planning a party or event soon and want some inspo for your dessert table, get in touch and we’ll make caketastic magic together! #magicthemecupcakes #magiciancupcakes #magicparty #magicpartytheme #magicianthemeparty

I fear our kids’ social lives have officially overtaken ours 🦩🪩😂 We checked out @clubflamingotheshow with @ask.andee yesterday… Basically a nightclub for kids… except somehow the adults are having just as much fun! Think DJ + dance floor + circus performers + acrobatics + bubbles + confetti + absolute CHAOS in the best possible way. We danced to Spice Girls whilst our little ones boogied away next to us. Core memories were made! 🥹 📍 The Grand Electric, Surry Hills 🪩 Saturday afternoons 🎪 Designed for ages 5–12, but everyone is welcome 🎟️ Tickets from $52 Sydney mums, SAVE this one for your next weekend adventure because this was such a vibe 🦩✨ #gifted
