Apparently it’s International Cat Day, funny to celebrate since I don’t technically have any cats. But this stray crew has become family over the past few months, even if they’ve chosen to keep their address on the street (their choice, not ours). They let us hang, we’ve treated wounds, and even given one kitten a bath after she fell in an oil pan 👀. They’re a highlight every day. Can you guess which one’s my favorite?

They say it takes a village, and this Becoming Her: Rooted in Legacy project is proof of that🥹🙏🇨🇩✨ One of my favorite parts of creating is bringing talented people together. I’m a connector at heart, and I truly believe the best things happen when we collaborate and let everyone’s unique gifts shine. I’m so thankful for every person who poured their time, creativity, and talent into this project. Becoming Her is about more than one person. It’s about the power of creating something bigger together. Also, we just hit $2,000 raised for the Ebola Outbreak in the DRC! I am so thankful for this community and how we show up!!! “Becoming Her” was never meant to be a solo story. It’s about the people behind the vision. The ones who stay late, create with intention, challenge ideas, support the process, and pour pieces of themselves into something bigger than all of us. This project has become so much more than me. It’s become a reflection of collaboration, trust, artistry, vulnerability, and what can happen when people believe in each other’s dreams wholeheartedly.Everyone involved in this project is in their own becoming season. Different stories. Different experiences. Different paths. But somehow we all met here to create something honest and deeply human together. One of the most beautiful parts of this process has been realizing that growth doesn’t happen alone. Sometimes becoming the next version of yourself takes community. It takes people who see your vision clearly, even before the world does. “Becoming Her” may have started as a personal story, but it’s turning into something we’re all finding pieces of ourselves in. 🤍 I hope you feel seen here and inspired always. a little glimpse into the heart behind Becoming Her🤍✨💭🎥 if you stay long enough to listen, I hope you leave feeling seen, inspired, and deeper in tune with who you are Becoming. Because truth is… I don’t think any of us are alone in our feelings as we think we are. I think so many of us are moving through the same grief, the same growing pains, the same identity shifts, the same quiet questions about who we are becoming, but we’re experiencing it separately in silence. and i think there’s something really powerful about women finally speaking those things out loud. about being vulnerable. about sharing our stories. about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to say “me too.” that’s what becoming her is to me. not perfection. not having it all figured out. just women finding their way back to themselves together. 🤍 Thank you for holding space for my art.
