This week on ReStacked, we’re spending some time with @asklychee and Office Hours.

Linda writes about ambition, career growth, motherhood, wealth and the realities of building a life on your own terms. We were especially drawn to her essay on work-life balance, and the questions it raises about what we give our time to, what we choose to pursue, and what we’re willing to let go of.

We’ve put together a little introduction to Linda’s work, along with a few Office Hours pieces to read next.

Drake's massive $400M Universal deal?

It's because he owns his audience.

He doesn't need the label for reach anymore.

That's negotiation power.

Saturday Daytimes x Linda Ayoola 💌

It’s not everyday you sit down with the someone like this. Linda and I met a couple of years ago at an @iamwomanuk dinner.

Today, we sat down to talk all things faith, finances and stewardship. Linda has played a massive part in @weareplatoon and has helped shape the careers of some of your favourite mainstream music artists!

She had wisdom for dayssszzzz.

Listen to the conversation next Saturday 29th August from 10am on @premiergospel. 📻

Success comes from genuine connection, not ego.

Whether talking to Pharrell or Janet Jackson, seeing people as fellow humans builds trust.

Be authentic, be grounded.

Never loan money to friends or family!

I just give it.

It’s not worth the fight or the awkwardness of calculating what’s owed when they’re living their best life and you’re not.

There is no such thing as an 'oevrnight success'

Olivia Dean has been 10 years in the making.

Her Grammy win is a decade of investment – not just in music, but in looks, brands, and shows. And that comes at a cost. #OliviaDean #MusicIndustry #ArtistDevelopment #BehindTheMusic #GrammyWinner #Investment #MusicBusiness #SuccessStory

To have brought together over 120 amazing women for my first event at only 23 still has me in shock! I’m so grateful for everyone that came and for the perfect speaker line up. I couldn’t have asked for better people to join me up on that stage and share such amazing value to our audience. As I said that evening, this is the first of many WNY events and great to see a vision i had many months ago come to light 🤍
