Cancer has a way of changing your plans. Your priorities. Your bank account. And sometimes, your entire perspective on life.

One thing it’s reminded me of? Life is better when we show up for each other.

So, I’m inviting you to show up for me. 🥹

On November 8, we’re teaming up with @ASLRunATX for Run. Walk. Show Up With Katie! This is a community fundraiser hosted by Friends of Katie, especially my dear friend Megan Klusza (@toneitupmegs ), to help ease the financial burden of my cancer treatment.

And here’s the beautiful part: You don’t have to be a runner. You don’t even have to walk.

Come for the exercise. Come for the coffee. Come for the company. Heck, come because you heard there might be snacks. 😂

Every step, every donation, and every person who shows up reminds me that I’m not navigating this chapter alone.

📅 Sunday, November 8, 2026
⏰ 8 AM | Arrive around 7:30 AM
☕ Noble Joe Coffee Co. | 1620 E Riverside Dr, Austin, TX 78741
👟 Up to 3 miles | Walk or run at your own pace

✨ Join us: Register and make a donation of any amount.

✨ Can’t attend? Your donation still makes a meaningful difference in helping cover my medical expenses. Also, walk/run with us wherever you are!

✨ Can’t donate? Sharing this post with your community is another beautiful way to show support.

🔗 Register or donate through the link in my bio.

Cancer may have interrupted my plans, but it hasn’t taken away my sense of humor, my love for life, or my belief in the goodness of people.

And I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning than surrounded by people who remind me why life is worth celebrating.

Let’s make November 8 a morning worth remembering. 💜

#atx #cancerfundraiser #deafcommunity Fundraising event flyer with a lavender-purple overlay on a photo of people walking and running. Large purple and blue text reads “Run. Walk. Show Up With Katie.” Hosted in collaboration with @ASLRunATX on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Noble Joe Coffee Co. in Austin, Texas. The walk starts at 8 AM, with an optional out-and-back route of up to 3 miles. The flyer encourages viewers to register and donate through the link in bio. The event raises funds to help Katie with cancer-related medical expenses.

Turns out, making new friends can be as simple as having a reason to say hello. 🥹

We brought a little social scavenger hunt to the ACL Reset Party🏃🏾‍♀️💨

A huge thank you to everyone who stepped outside their comfort zone, talked to someone new, and made this so much fun!

And just like that, we created an intentional space. ✨

Weekend 2 was on a NEW LEVEL 🔥

This is what happens when the right people find each other and the whole city feels it. Austin didn’t need another event. It needed a RESET.

Built by the community. Powered by @electrolit. 💧

We came for ASLRun ATX + BARC 5K. We stayed for Baby Winter’s Diaper Dash.
We left shocked when Dutch Bros started signing to us before we hit the road. 🥹🤟
