Tommaso Sperandeo led a whirlwind tour of what we’re calling “Trolley Corner.” Almost within earshot of campus, Tommaso told us about what it was like to stand at the bustling trolley station behind the Creative Space. Sidewalk chalk briefly made an appearance. We were called “folks” a few times. It was magical!

There used to be a hospital at the intersection of Pine and Broad in Selinsgrove. Chloe Yablonski is going to take us there tomorrow for a one-century flashback. Meet by the football practice field/tennis courts at 12:50. HISTORY!!!!

Grab a Survival Acts box and head over to @asmallgoodthingpa to use your $5 gift certificate! It’ll entirely cover a cookie or a cinnamon roll—perfect for night owls *or* early birds. Be quick about it, he won’t be here much longer (cue deep mourning). 💜✨🥺

Next up on our Small Business Spotlight we’re featuring A Small Good Thing! Their food itself is delicious every time, but the best parts of the restaurant don’t end there. The space is a hub for community; complete with local youth art for sale, card games and books, and a vibrant conversational energy created by the owner. Let alone events like soap making classes held to keep businesses supporting each other through hard economic times.

For most people currently graduating, I’m sure we all have an array of memories spanning back years of chatting with strangers in line, lighting candles on the table, and picking out games with our friends. This is an immense gift to have had.

While curating our boxes, we originally decided we’d want to include cookies, but realized we wouldn’t be able to meet everyone’s food restrictions. Besides—part of the mission for both ASGT and ourselves is to drive traffic around the small businesses nearby. Why not incentivize with a gift card instead?

We hope you’ll stop by ASGT this weekend if you haven’t already, and give some support to this beautiful place and its people💜✨💜✨💜
