A huge thank you to my dear friend, @attorney_houdaberri
for the personal invitation to the @acrl_michigan Fight for Justice Gala!
❤️
What a beautiful evening reconnecting with amazing people, hearing powerful voices, and seeing @cenkuygur and @anakasparianofficial of @theyoungturks again.

So grateful to have such powerhouses in our corner.

I have to admit, it felt strange attending a gala WITHOUT my camera!
😂
But it was wonderful to actually enjoy conversations without rushing off to capture the next moment.

Thank you again, my friend.
I appreciate you!
❤️

Great work is never done alone.

As we prepare for ACRL’s 14th Annual Fight for Justice Gala — Justice in Motion, we are proud to recognize and sincerely thank Team Wellness Center and Specialty Pain Management for their generous support.

Their sponsorship represents more than support for one evening. It is an investment in a mission rooted in civil rights, civil liberties, equality, dignity, and justice—and in the community ACRL has been privileged to serve and defend.

Organizations that choose to stand behind this work help make it possible for ACRL to continue showing up when voices need to be heard, rights need to be protected, and communities need an advocate.

To Team Wellness Center and Specialty Pain Management: thank you for believing in the mission, supporting our work, and standing with us.

We look forward to recognizing you as we gather in Dearborn on October 21, 2026, for an evening of purpose, community, and justice in motion.

Because when a community stands together, justice moves forward.

Wayne County, Michigan officially launched the Well Wayne Fresh Truck Mobile Market yesterday – bringing fresh, affordable produce directly to neighborhoods! Operating as a grocery store on wheels, the Well Wayne Fresh Truck Mobile Market will bring fresh, affordable produce directly to neighborhoods where access is limited.

“The new Fresh Truck Mobile Market will be a vital link for so many individuals and families who are struggling with transportation issues and access to healthy, fresh and affordable food,” commented Wayne County Commission Chair Alisha Bell. “This initiative will go a long way towards helping the community fight hunger, reduce illness and improve overall public health and well-being.”

Through this partnership, we’re making it easier for residents to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables close to home using SNAP, EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, cash, or credit/debit cards. Every family deserves access to healthy, nutritious food, and this initiative is another step toward building a healthier Wayne County for all.
