Another warm and playful kitchen renovation with Assembly Interiors.

This one combines Vic Ash TrueScale AbsoluteGrain joinery with Laminex Burnt Ochre, creating texture and character throughout. A concealed appliance station carries the Burnt Ochre detail inside the cabinetry, while on the other side of the kitchen, a kidney-style corner pull-out makes clever use of a blind corner. The overhead cabinetry is detailed with brass suspension rods, giving built in furniture-like quality.

Laminate benchtops are finished with solid timber edging, with timber handles by @linearstandard completing the aesthetic.

We worked on Elster Ave with Assembly Interiors, finalised at the beginning of the year.

A palette of Navurban White Mountain Oak laminate, 20mm profiled 2PAC doors, and white tiling on curved surfaces sets the tone for the space.

We created custom full-height handles and included bifold doors to the pantry, bar and breakfast nook, and a curved rangehood box designed for tiling - each element created for function and flow.

Subtle additions like motion-sensor lighting to the bar and a custom HVAC grille bring a sense of intention and quality to the joinery.

Our Haddon White Matte Medium Square Tile takes the lead here, wrapping the range hood and island to create a soft, sculptural moment through the kitchen.

Paired with timber tones and natural light, it brings just the right amount of texture and contrast 🤍

Rye Renovation | From Start to Finish

A look at how this one came together for Andrew & Julie in Rye.

From day one demolition through to the final stages, this project was all about steady progress, clean work, and getting the details right.

We’ll often be on site across different stages like this — not always back-to-back, but always moving things forward properly with each trade lined up and working to a plan.
