The 2026 season is in the books. ✅

Nearly 1,500 miles of racing across some of the toughest bikepacking and backcountry MTB events out there. Big miles, big mountains, dry deserts, a few sleepless nights, and a whole lot of type 2 fun.

🥇 Bones To Blue: 250-mile MTB bikepack, new FKT
🥇 MEGA @breckepic 220 miles, all 6 stages back-to-back, self-supported
🥈 @sauer.tucson 315-mile gravel bikepack
🥈 @pinyonspinesbikepackingrace 410-mile bikepack race
🥈 @salidabigfrigginloop 108-mile backcountry MTB
6️⃣ @vaportrail125 125-mile backcountry MTB

Every finish line had a story. Every result represents countless hours of training, some calculated suffering, and the privilege of chasing big adventures in the mountains and desert.

And above all, endless gratitude to the sponsors who continue to believe in me and @teamtopeakergon and support these adventures year after year. Your support makes it possible to line up, push limits, and keep chasing the next big thing. Thank you for being part of the journey. 🙏

Now it’s time to recover, reflect, and start dreaming about 2027. ⛰️

What a crazy year it’s been. Happy to fast forward through the spring to time on the bike. Learning patience and listening to my body.

Whose faster? BIKER vs CYCLIST - the world may never know.
Except for they do. It’s me. I’m faster than a car in a 10 sec effort… that has a speed limit of 45mph. lol

Austin King takes the 40-49 age group win in the 63 mile @chinogrinder !!! The conditions were all time, tacky dirt, no dust, cool temps and cloudy. Thank you @_rafterhouse_ for the continued support!
