Venue spotlight @campdavidfarm: a private garden estate in the Macedon Ranges where you can create your own celebration across multiple days and spaces. Tucked away in Spring Hill, just over an hour from Melbourne, @campdavidfarm is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re in country Victoria. It feels more like a European oasis. What I love most about it is the multiple garden settings. Your guests don’t stay in one spot all day. Instead, the celebration moves through the estate: - A ceremony looking out over the Macedon Ranges - Canapés on the lawn soaking up the view, or tucked into the olive garden - A marquee reception set amongst the manicured hedges - A poolside recovery the next day by the infinity pool The estate is yours exclusively and as a dry-hire venue, it gives you complete flexibility to structure and style your wedding in a way that truly reflects you. There’s also onsite accommodation across two separate houses, The Homestead and The Cottage, sleeping up to 22 guests. Your closest people can settle in the day before, wake up on the property and stay for the recovery. It turns one day into a proper destination wedding weekend. @campdavidfarm asks couples to have a professional wedding planner on board. That makes so much sense with a dry-hire venue, because there’s a lot to bring together across all those spaces. For us to help couples at @campdavidfarm our Plan & Style services is the perfect fit! So if @campdavidfarm is on your list for late 2027 or early 2028, get in touch via my website contact form asap and let’s chat. For now, enjoy these photos showcasing the estate, designed by our team and brought together by a great team of vendors: Planner & co stylist @mellyraincreative Florals, stationery, lead designer & stylist @ateliercreative Photographer @ashleighhaasephotography Venue @campdavidfarm Content @maidof.content Gowns @couturelovemadness_ Hair & makeup @kyliejaneartistry Marquee @tierraevents Furniture @tent_society Tableware & linen @_curated_tables_ Model @teekav93 Australian wedding planner mellyrain.com.au

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you start planning your wedding. Most of the couples we work with don’t really know what they want at the beginning, and that’s completely okay. As your wedding planner, I’ll guide you on budget from day one, so you know what’s realistic before you fall in love with anything. From a few questions and the things you tell me you’re imagining, I can help you find the right venue and vendors to fit your budget, brief and vision. As for styling, you don’t need a full Pinterest board before your first meeting with Lauren, your dedicated wedding designer. One photo, even one that isn’t wedding-related, can give her so much to work with. Often, the styling ideas couples love most are ones they hadn’t even considered. Then on the day, Lauren and I work side by side to bring your whole vision to life. I manage the logistics, vendors and flow of the day, while Lauren installs the styling concept she’s created just for you. How do you get started working with us? Great question! The most important one I need to answer for you. 1. Get in touch through the contact form at mellyrain.com.au 2. We’ll book in a complimentary call to hear what you’re thinking, however much or little you know so far 3. You’ll receive a personalised Plan & Style proposal for your wedding You don’t need all the answers to get started. You just need the right people guiding you through the whole planning and styling process. We are those people! Learn more about Plan & Style at mellyrain.com.au/services Now booking 2027 & 2028. “We went into our first call with a vibe & left with a vision.” @caitlin.angelino @tanatswa.n This is one of our favourite things to hear, because it’s exactly how it should feel. So many couples come to us thinking they need to have it all figured out for their wedding. The timeline. The colour palette. The guest flow. The florals. The full vision. You don’t. That’s what our job is. Help you find the nuggets of gold that will make your wedding yours and then create everything around that! In that first conversation, we ask about the two of you. How you want your guests to feel, the moments that matter most, and the little things that make you YOU. From there, Lauren starts translating it into the look and feel with florals, styling and stationery. While I build the plan, the logistics and the vendors that bring it all together. This is exactly how we started the planning and styling conversations with @caitlin.angelino and @tanatswa.n. We’re adoring every moment of working with this beautiful couple. Thank you for trusting us with your wedding ahead. Their day isn’t until January 2028 at @aloramacedon, but we can safely say we’re beyond excited to see this one come together. Swipe to read their full note! Plan & Style is our full planning and creative direction service, with Lauren and I by your side from first call to last dance. Now booking late 2027 and early 2028. The brief: soft and romantic without taking away the breathtaking view. Execution: complete! This is one we adored creating from scratch and it all started with one inspo image. The focus for this ceremony setting was creating a soft colour palete that was striking but didn’t take your eyes away from the stunning background. And can we talk about the raised platform for a second? We love it so much! Not only does it look absolutely stunning, it also means everyone can actually see you say for “I do”. Even Aunt Betty in the back row! No craning necks, no peering between heads, just everyone part of the moment with you. It’s these little details that doesn’t always make the Pinterest board, but it’s elements we discuss as your design concept evolves and can make such a difference on the day. This is exactly why we love having planning and styling together a service for our couples. The pretty bits and the practical bits get thought through at the same time, so everything just works on the day. We have a limited spots left in late 2027 and early 2028 for couples eager to work with us. Get in touch with us asap at mellyrain.com.au and select Plan & Style in your enquiry form. The thing I wish every couple knew before booking their wedding suppliers... Most couples don’t realise how many separate roles go into bringing a wedding day together: - a planner - an on-the-day coordinator - a stylist - a florist - a graphic designer - a stationer - a signage maker - décor hire - a set-up & pack-down crew That’s a lot of people to find, brief and manage. AND to keep talking to each other. That’s why we offer Plan & Style. Two wedding specialists that cover ALL of these roles in one team. Your planner @mellyraincreative walking you through budget, venue sourcing and contracts, vendor management, logistics and timelines, site visits, troubleshooting and wedding day management. Your stylist @ateliercreative guiding you through your creative direction, florals, stationery and signage, décor sourcing, set-up and pack-down on the day. Oh, and Lauren is also a florist and graphic designer, WIN! Fewer vendors to source. One cohesive design and plan. One team that knows your wedding inside out. We truly believe the details are never extra. They’re the difference. This is one tablescape we can’t get enough of, created at @brolgahillestate, one of our favourite venues to work at. It’s a space where the small details make a big, personal impact. The detail is in the design, of course. But it’s also in the logistics. A beautifully designed tablescape needs to work with how food is served on the day. Enough room for share platters, the right glassware for beverages selected, and centrepieces that allow waitstaff to serve and guests to talk across the table. That’s why Plan & Style is so valuable for our couples. Planning, styling and design come from one team, so every detail is considered from both sides and nothing is missed. You’ll find more about Plan & Style at mellyrain.com.au. We’re now taking bookings for late 2027 & early 2028. Meet the faces behind Plan & Style. And what each of us actually does! Couples often ask us about the difference between a planner and a stylist. Both roles are equally important but they are different. So here’s how we work and why we joined forces to create Plan & Style. Mel @mellyraincreative | The Planner Mel has spent 10 years in event management, including producing major events in Melbourne for the likes of Paul McCartney and the Australian Open. For the past seven years she has brought that same logistical precision and calm under pressure to weddings. Her wedding expertise is planning and logistics: - your budget, built & kept on track - vendor sourcing, quotes & negotiation - site visits to prepare & plan ahead - guest management, RSVPs & seating - timeline, run sheet & vendor briefs - troubleshooting before & on the day, so nothing lands on your plate Lauren @ateliercreative | The Stylist Lauren is a qualified florist and graphic designer with 13 years in the industry. She brings your wedding day to life visually across florals, stationery, furniture, decor and more. She is your expert in wedding styling and design: - creative direction, mood boards & digital mock-ups - florals in every shape & form - stationery, signage & custom websites - floor plans for every space - décor, linen & hire sourcing - full set-up & pack-down on the day What this means for you? One team that plans, designs and knows your wedding inside out. Every design idea is checked against the logistics. Every logistical decision protects the look you love. No messages passed between separate suppliers and nothing lost in between. Read more about Plan & Style on our website (link in bio) or book a complimentary call through our website contact form to get started. We’re now booking from May 2027 into 2028.
