Hi there! 👋🏻Lots of new people here! Thanks for joining us in this project! Hope we can inspire or motivated you to create stuff!
It’s our fist time renovating a house and we gonna make mistakes or ‘discoveries’ like sanding of the tiles 😉
Moving out of the city is for us an opportunity to get back to a more hands-on and crafting day-to-day where we can combine building and gardening. The fresh air and the freedom this house gives us are priceless.
Coming both from a creative background we started @atelierscrap_bcn two years ago, Art Toys made out of recycled materials. It’s a bit on pause but hopefully we get back to it! Now that Flo has his garage 😉

Feel free to reach out and chat with us! Always happy to share the process and give tips!

Un saludo
Isa & Flo

Yes, we have a new date for our workshop at @fedrabarcelona! You can book through the link in our bio for the 2nd of June!! These images are from our last one and they capture pretty well the great fun we had! Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far in our project. It’s important that we care about the resources that are around us, and then we see opportunities where others may see waste. Showing possibilities makes creation possible.

If any of the participants from our past workshops sees this post, we would be happy to see how you finished your second art toy at home!!

I think it took us about 20 errors and trials to get this model as efficient and resistant as it is now, and we still think that we could need a metal frame around it to reinforce the wood frame, as we use about 2 tonnes of weight when we press our cars. We’re already thinking about creating new ones for different shapes, maybe even bigger sizes.

When making the pieces, completely new combinations sometimes emerge. Like this one! We also experimented with a few new color combinations for the paper part. Some of these you can see next weekend 21st of April at @mercanticsantcugat ! Come by and say hi! 🫠 #paper #craft #barcelona #skateboard #cars #toys #arttoys #toyart #design #productdesign #uniquepieces #handmade #atelierscrap #workshops #kids #designer
