In our 2hours workshop we want to demonstrate how to create a solid material using molds. In the second part of the workshop, you’ll assemble your Art Toy. You’ll have the opportunity to choose colors and accessories for your cars from discarded materials like skateboards and wood. With hand tools and sanding machines you will finalise your car! Once you booked the workshop you will receive a detailed list of materials to bring that day! Last spots available! 👀 10th of May @fedrabarcelona | link in the bio 👆🏻 #papertoys #barcelona #kids #workshop #design #paperdesign #arttoy #skateboard #handmade taken in Barcelona, Spain by @atelierscrap_bcn

Earth Day 🌍 every day!
We should’t accept things as they are and instead inspire our children to see opportunities to change things for the better.
We are glad that we have found a way to use materials that are considered waste and turn them into something new without harming the planet. We hope that by showing possibilities, we inspire others to find creative solutions to the problems that affect us all.

Yes, we have a new date for our workshop at @fedrabarcelona! You can book through the link in our bio for the 2nd of June!! These images are from our last one and they capture pretty well the great fun we had! Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far in our project. It’s important that we care about the resources that are around us, and then we see opportunities where others may see waste. Showing possibilities makes creation possible.

If any of the participants from our past workshops sees this post, we would be happy to see how you finished your second art toy at home!!

Everything we use comes from places around us.
We get the salty seawater from our city beach in Barcelona Nova Icària, (we once had water from Castelldefels) to mix the shredded matte paper from old magazines with the collected sawdust from @tmdc.es. We add the egg cartons from @las_del_258 (or sometimes from our fridge) with dry bread mixed into tiny pieces, from our bakery down the road. They always put them on the side until we come and pick them up! 😊
It’s fun to pick the bits and pieces from all these places. There is a journey behind each of our art toys! My cousine brought us once dry bread from Portugal! 🫶🏻

We still look for printer places in Barcelona that would like to collaborate with us, if you know anyone that wants to get rid of all these lovely print leftovers, tag them in here!
