At last, this beautiful publication of ‘Things I did that nobody noticed (but that changed everything)’ is in the world. Its is published by Bethlem Gallery, produced by Book Works, and supported by Arts Council England. The book is a full collection of my 35-drawing work, accompanied by poetry, essays and sonic reflections by creative collaborators: Yvette Mutumba, Tamar Yoseloff, Asiya Wadud, George Vasey, Sam Curtis, Rohan Ayinde, Atom Inion Morton and Abdul Hai. The drawings were first commissioned for the 10th Berlin Biennale (2018) and this first edition is a small print run of 100 copies. @bethlemgallery shop link in bio to purchase - a bargain at £50. £1 per year of my life !!

We are overjoyed to share that Flying Duo won Best Narrative at Sunrise Film Festival this weekend! We absolutely adore this festival and are so grateful to their team for recognizing our film. We were originally hoping to visit the festival in person, however last minute we were not able to do so. Instead, the Fracassantes core team were in France attending the funeral of someone we deeply love and cherish, and coincidentally was an integral part of Flying Duo’s journey. Thank you so much to @_felipechavez for collecting the award on our behalf and for supporting us through this beautiful high in the middle of a heartbreaking low. Thank you @sunrisefilmfest for supporting us and showing our film! And the biggest thank you we can muster to the incredible Delphine Brunet, for everything. Your light, laughter and love was such a guidance through this project, and we hope we continue to feel that in all our future work. With so much love, Charly, Robyn, Emma, and the Flying Duo Team x The Speech: We are so incredibly honoured to have our film be a part of Sunrise Film Festival. Thank you to the team of passionate organisers and volunteers who make essential events like this possible. On this occasion, we could not be here in person. Our team is currently attending the funeral of someone very close to our hearts, and coincidentally, very close to our film. Delphine Brunet was an integral part of Flying Duo from start to finish. Not only did she birth our writer, Emma Brunet, but she supported all of us through every stage of production. Flying Duo is a film about leaving the home you love to create your own, and finding your dream. When Emma chose to pursue her London dream, Delphine let her little bird fly. And without that, we would never be here. So we would love to dedicate this moment to her today. Thank you, Delphine, for everything you have done for this film, and for us. Your guidance, support, humour and love knew no bounds, and we are so grateful for everything. With so much love, Charly, Robyn, Emma and the Flying Duo Team x Thank you @_felipechavez and thank you @sunrisefilmfest 🧡 we are so incredibly grateful and honoured to have be

The video we opened with last night 🤍 an overview of our work so far - including a sneaky first look at the next project due to premiere 👀 Thank you to everyone who made these projects possible, we’ve been so lucky to have spent so much of the last two years creating, and we couldn’t have done it without everyone who came together to help tell these stories 🙏🏻 when we first sat down to discuss the idea of making Emma’s beautiful script into a film we had no idea that we would get to premiere it on such an iconic screen, or that we would be able to show it alongside MORE work that we’d be privileged enough to be able to make 👏🏻 last night felt so special, and we are so grateful for everyone who showed up to support 🤍 Thank you @iamharryevans for being the best host, and for all your amazing hard work off stage too ⭐️ and another massive thank you @arfajacques (aka @undertheskinportraits) for documenting the event for us, and for always being such an amazing Yes Man ⭐️ And of course, thank you to @ritzy_cinema for being the MOST beautiful cinema ❤️ (Full credits in comments)
