Doing some much lower contrast colorwork than is normal for me on the top of this yoke so my sheepies really pop. I’m absolutely LOVING the new Roundabout from Tumalo Fiber. Also, I deconstructed a beautiful braid of Corriedale from @atomicfiberstudio and it spun up so well! Pattern: Bellwether by @boylandknitworks, Yarn: @tumalo_fiber Roundabout and Bedhead and my hand spun dyed by @atomicfiberstudio

Small indie dyers and local yarn/fiber shops pour so much magic, time, and heart into what they do, they are the heartbeat of our crafting community, and I never want to take them for granted. Expect a wave of unashamedly enthusiastic shoutouts coming your way. Go love on your favorite makers! 🫶✨🧵

Getting prepared to move country has proven to be incredibly overwhelming, but I have found the opportunity to work on some personal projects that had been sitting around for a while🐑 this bobbin is filled with art batts, dyed targhee, natural BFL, dyed locks and natural merino for a beautifully fun, patchwork yarn! It is destined to be knit into something cozy to wear during the cold English winters🤪✨

New Offering!

I love procuring gorgeous fiber braids. I know I have learned to spin, but I purchased these with the purpose to create blends.

If you would like any of these braids made into mini batts or rolags, they are available for an introductory price of $8 per ounce. Let me know if you want any of them combined or created with add-ins such as bamboo, firestar, silk noil, etc.

NOTE: I am trying to determine how to add different captions for each photo.

DAY 19 ➿TDF | Real talk - today was One of Those Days. Everything felt like it was going wrong. Everything felt like an obligation, including spinning 😭. But it got done! And now I have a beautiful superwash merino braid by @atomicfiberstudio spun up. And that’s good enough for today ✌🏼
