USM X BUCHANAN STUDIO proudly presents TESSELLATE.

TESSELLATE introduces eleven new pieces- side tables, coffee tables, storage solutions and more- each combining the iconic USM Haller System with Buchanan Studio’s signature aesthetic. Explore patterns, sculptural forms, and a custom colour ‘BS Pink’ created especially for the collaboration, alongside options for marble tops and cushions in Buchanan Studio’s most popular fabrics.

“This is our first ever brand collaboration which marks a significant milestone for Buchanan Studio. We are incredibly excited to be partnering with USM- a design icon we have long admired. It has been an amazing privilege using the USM Haller system as a canvas for our design language” Angus Buchanan

A glimpse of what I’ve been creating at @westlandlondonantiques : an imagined late 18th century study for Sir William Chambers, conceived during his work on Somerset House.

At the same time as recreating a Georgian interior, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of an architect at work offering candlelight, colour, furniture, drawings and objects, brought together with the character of a lived-in room.

My space combines pieces from @westlandlondonantiques extraordinary collection with a few objects of my own for good measure, alongside a bespoke scent inspired by the materials and mood of an 18th century architect’s study. A special thank you to the brilliant @philipclaycabinetry who very kindly helped bring the room’s architectural character to life by crafting the timber panelling, skirtings, cornice and door.

Huge thanks to @westlandlondonantiques for making this all possible, and to the wonderful designers involved @vsp_interiors @bulmer.ed @alienorcros @marco_mansi_ whose rooms, creativity and work have been an endless supply of inspiration. Brilliantly captured by @attear

An attempt to make the past feel present, and a full reveal coming soon, along with our @countrylifemagazine @giles.kime evening talk on 24th September.

There is something so enduringly beautiful about blue and white china—the infinite variety of pattern, age and provenance, yet somehow it always sits happily together. A little glimpse of what I have been up to and collecting for our latest window at Westland London… together with @bulmer.ed - I chose his Indigo- all curated from objects and beauty found at this magical Aladdin’s cave that is @westlandlondonantiques -my full room will be revealed very soon together with all the special artists and people that have supported us- thank you also to @attear for the beautiful photography!
