Concrete jungle where dreams are made of. 🎬
We had a wild week visiting New York City for the world premier of "Chelsea" at the Chelsea Film Festival. Our 80-minute RomCom looked amazing on the big screen. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a new chapter. #chelseafilmfestival #filmfestival #indiefilmmaking #newyorkcity #chelseamovie

Not only did we shoot this @dollar.bank spot in a real house going under a deep renovation, we also got to work with the splendid @lejonism

He made @thisnickwrites job easy and they had lots of fun on set. At least that’s how we remember it.

We are proud to announce that we have received 2 Emmy Nominations!

Before this nomination, ‘The Ocean – Five Years’ had already won Best Documentary in Vienna and closed the Three Rivers Film Festival.

Turner’s Dairy started with three cows and a vision. 95 years later, that vision is a Pennsylvania dairy institution — now with an Emmy-nominated documentary.

These honors mark a career total of nine Emmy nominations for our female-led studio. “We get to share incredible stories and to be recognized for our work is an honor,” said Courtney Gumpf, Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Flying Scooter Productions. “I’m proud of our crew and my producing-partner, Jenni. Our goal is to create impact and engage on a human level. These films showcase that.”

Congratulations & thank you to our producing partners and friends @brett__mccutcheon @thevaultrecording & @turnerspgh

We made our first feature length film!!
🎬
In 2023, Bad Dates produced a short film called "Glazed Over" which won best film in Pittsburgh and took the team all the way to Lisbon, Portugal for Filmapalooza! While finalizing their entry, it became very clear to the producers that a feature length found footage project could be the answer to getting over 60 minutes of movie filmed at the absolute bare minimum of production size. In November 2023, this small group of filmmakers set out to make it happen. Three years later, the team is proud to present "Chelsea" a 74 minute feature film featuring a cast and crew of predominantly Point Park University, Cinema & Digital Arts alumni. Bad Dates is incredibly excited to share our new project "Chelsea" with the world this fall. #foundfootage #movietrailer #movielovers

"Chelsea" is officially picture locked! This moves us into the finishing chapter of our indie feature adventure. Its taken an incredible amount of time and passion to bring this project together, and we're feeling very happy to announce we're over 70 minutes with our runtime! There's a lot more to do, but it finally feels like the bulk of the work is behind us. #chelseamovie #davinciresolve #indiefilm
